  1. I've got the banners in my car, Kory.
  2. Hahaha, it would be funny, but I've already noticed a bunch of images being posted that have been taken from a massive variety of cameras, so who knows?
  3. Eric's car? Matt and Kory (and I) have already used it as a "guinea pig" when we scouted the location for last Sunday's R32 cruise.
  4. Nice shots, Matt, but I'm thinking the same as Kory - that bridge shot looks "odd." Oh Kory, have you taken your Photo5 shots yet? The first one is due this Sunday (17/10/10), and each submission is on the preceding days after that (18th, 19, 20th, and the open brief on the 21st). Owen, even though you didn't get the Photo5 pack, you can still enter a submission for the last Brief... Details: http://community.canon.com.au/blogs/eos/ar...-has-begun.aspx
  5. Yummmm, R31 Passage! Gotta love a pillar-less car! My Stagea has frame-less windows, but it still has a B-pillar. Here's a shot from my old Nokia 3250, just after I'd installed the new suspension way back when.
  6. That's most probably StageIan - red series 2 RS-V. He lives just down the road.
  7. I got some video, Joel, but it was hard with the traffic (both people and other cars). I'll be giving it to Eric to add to whatever he's producing, hopefully it turned out good enough. Yep, I've also learnt that too - I was using a 40" LCD TV here but the screen is very dark (even though it's been colour calibrated), so now I do all my PP on the laptop (also calibrated). Hahaha, that's awesome! Yep, as long as you sign a disclaimer, then it's fine.
  8. I think these three sentences are the most valid in this WHOLE thread. The way this country is run is in a reactive manner instead of a proactive manner - in other words, we let the problems happen and escalate instead of preventing them from happening in the first place. Our "driver education system" (if you could call it that) is a prime example, but unfortunately it's not the only one. Anyway, this thread is getting too feisty, and there are too many posts that come way too close to personal attacks. It started out as a discussion, but it's becoming an argument. Thread locked. Please DO NOT open another thread in a similar vein.
  9. Spotted MaTBoY today around lunchtime today at Blacktown!
  10. OMG, yummmmm!!! Where's the Chaser badge on the front though, Sidd? Eric, I still haven't looked at the video I took on Sunday, but I'll give it to you Thursday if you're coming out.
  11. Yep, the 60D uses SD cards as well - although it's slower than CF, I too already had a bunch of SD cards from the cameras I already own so that swayed me away from the 7D. I don't need all the 7D features (or the extra weight!), and the 60D has the articulating screen, which has already come in handy.
  12. NO WAY!!! ME TOO!!! (And one dirty green LOLvo)
  13. Loof, where have you been hiding?!?!?
  14. Agreed! Sorry PJ, thread locked due to a lack of maturity from a few people posting in this thread. Grow up, jawgry and DAS KAMU. If THIS were an attitude test, you would have failed dismally!
  15. I'm the same, I hate stretched tyres too. I've got 245s on my 8" wheels (but that's on a C34). In my opinion it looks tougher, and it helps that there's less chance of rubbing the wheel on a gutter or something too. What suspension do M35's have on them? If it's double-wishbones f+r, then I'm *pretty sure* that as soon as you put some weight on them the suspension should tuck up and in by way of how the geometry works, right???
  16. Adam!!! Do a search!!!!!!! http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...t&p=4849949
  17. Needing to buy a wireless trigger can be avoided, see below... Okay, Kory, remember when we were having a quick chat about setting up your external flash to fire without using the wireless trigger? I've tried it with the new camera and it works the same way as with the 450D, so it should work for your camera too (and most likely yours, too, Owen). The only issue will be if you don't want to use your on-camera flash. Otherwise, set your flashes up in slave mode, and once you've set your on-camera flash to fire, it should signal the external flash(es) to go off. I'm pretty sure there is also a way to do it without the built-in (or a hot shoe-mounted) flash, but haven't read up and experimented with it yet... Oh yeah, thinking about it, the external flash(es) should overpower the built-in flash anyway, so hopefully you'll still be able to get a nice even spread of light.
  18. Sweet, so where is the new place being built, Matt? Still in the 'Riff area? Oh yeah, Dr's appointment tomorrow @ 1pm, then I'll give you a call. Thanks dude! Thanks Kory. I'm wondering if it'll be worth having LR v3.2 as well, who uses it? Is it worth having both CS5 and LR3, or just use the KISS theory (especially since I'm not that great with using PS)?
  19. This has been covered hundreds of times - please do a search.
  20. Dude, you should DEFINITELY print that!
  21. Or a C34-chassis Stagea. But it would probably look a bit odd.
  22. Correct, Tim. We'll have a stand/desk with membership forms (as well as merchandise) ready to go, but if you've already got your forms filled out, that makes it easier for us Execs and it means you can spend more time checking out the other cars there on the day before we head inside for the shoot.
  23. I think a DIY install is a bit risky - it's not the kind of device you'd want stuffing up on you because you wired it up or installed it incorrectly. I'm sure Chris Rogers will go into more detail in that regard when he sees this... Anyway, CC is something I'd like to have done as well. I know Duncan has got it on his Stagea, and the thread is HERE
  24. Spotted a black s1 M35 waiting at the set of lights to turn onto Sparks Rd (off the F3) on the Central Coast. I was turning right to head up North...
