  1. She's still in the process of moving (as well as dealing with the newborn), but should be back into it soon enough. You WILL hear from her, don't worry!
  2. I ate at Granata's in Pemulwuy (Greystanes) just over a week ago, and it was great! Italian restaurant with a mixture of dishes: pastas, risottos, pizzas (even a calzone) and deserts/sweets. Most meals are between $15 and $30, and the staff are young and cheerful too. http://www.granatas.com.au/
  3. Dale, my sister and her hubby are moving to Warimoo very soon, so this sounds good.
  4. If you're going to be shooting rapid-fire shots using the 11ty FPS of the camera, then a faster card is better because the files will transfer to the card's memory quicker. Otherwise, I don't think it will matter too much.
  5. That thing looks awesome!
  6. Spotted Calsonic14u (Luke) yesterday driving his '33 along Third Avenue in Blacktown as I was leaving Carbon Car Systems around 5.30pm.
  7. I'm guessing he works right opposite where I see his car parked all the time, either at the smash repairers or tyre place on the other side of that T-junction.
  8. Well, the wrap-up thread for today has just been fired up, go and post your photos, times and experiences in there. Link: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/444184-s-a-u-n-s-w-texikhana-9-june-2014-wrap-up-thread/
  9. Here you go peoples, post all your photos and experiences for today here! Hope you all had fun!
  10. Would be the same as any R34 Stagea conversion, except with the Z-tune guards/bumper/bonnet.
  11. Mick, have you posted in or checked out the Car Audio and Security section??? Link: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/forum/9-car-audio-security/
  12. How about No???
  13. Who is Vic, and is she hot? Oh, and if Vic = Victor, I don't want to know.
  14. I agree with Charlie on this - most of the damage looks superficial and/or repairable. The hardest cosmetic thing to repair/replace is probably the carbon diffuser, but then this could open you up to options if you want to upgrade or change it to a different style. Painting can be sorted by any capable spray painter, and BSB is surely easier to match than one of the three different Midnight Purples, right? Personally, I wouldn't be asking for anyone else to pay for the repairs (except maybe your insurer), but that's me. When I damaged my car a few years back, my sister kept insisting that it was her fault because we were at the shops that day under her request, but I was the one in the driver's seat, I was the one in control of the car, and I was the one not paying proper attention at the time because I was tired and hungry. Granted, this situation is slightly different, but I sure as hell hope that this doesn't set a precedent for this country becoming litigious, and people throwing law suits and sueing people left, right and centre... I'd just take this on the chin as being part of car ownership.
  15. We already do this, it's just the new minimum age that we've been made aware of due to insurance.
  16. Alright, a few things here: threatening to cause physical harm to ANYONE via a public forum can cause major issues for the parties involved, especially the one making the threats. I am very glad that that has been retracted (it has, hasn't it???). You might want to take a step back before you hit that "Post" key, take a breath, and re-read what you've typed before letting it free on the internet where it will remain FOREVER, with the ever-present risk of it haunting you later in life. SAU as a forum, nor SAU-NSW as a club, are not responsible for any unofficial events that are posted here, nor any damage that may occur at an unofficial event. Please remember that, after all is said and done, it is still just a car. As hard as you've worked, as much as you've saved, and as often as you've chosen to go without other things in your life so you could afford your dream, it can still be either repaired or replaced. And much more easily than a family member or friend, or even a pet. A few other observations: organising a cruise for a whole bunch of performance-oriented cars like these is always a great idea if it is well thought-out and run. Blindly leading them onto a dirt track (or even a rough road), with absolutely no warning, is not very smart. Nor is the lack of a map/itinerary for the day, as per Terry's suggestion early in the thread. I can kinda understand why Edifier is feeling the way he is - I'd be majorly upset too if I was pretty much forced to follow down a similar stretch of road at the risk of damaging my car, but I've had the odd scrape here and there in my car. Yes, I was extremely annoyed at the time. But as the saying goes, "Shit happens," and all we can do is get over it and cover our bases in the hope that it doesn't happen again.
  17. Keep your racing exploits OFF the streets and also OFF these forums. We've spent over a decade building a positive reputation for SAU, and don't want it ruined by thoughtless driving and equally thoughtless bragging about it. If you're going to be doing ANY racing, keep it to the track or go and buy a game console...
  18. I spotted this car again yesterday driving along Station Road in Toongabbie while we were sitting at the AGM, and also spotted a white R32 GTR heading the other way about 10mins later.
  19. Spotted that same black R31 again this evening around 6.40pm on Station Road in Seven Hills.
  20. Massive thanks again to Terry for co-ordinating another fantastic event for us Members, and to Theo for hosting the very informative afternoon! Poor Milan with that camera set-up, every time he turned to shoot a different angle, *clunk* it bangs on another fence post or something and limits his shooting options. Here's hoping it doesn't affect the output of the video too much!
  21. Ahh okay. Gold VS XXs are a nice choice!
  22. Spotted that same black R31 coupe on Lucas Rd in Seven Hills, is that you Fordy?
  23. Sorry guys and girls, thread closed. Please refer to this: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/228238-read-this-whos-the-best-tunerworkshopresprayerdetaileretc/
  24. LOL, I was just watching that, Dale!
