  1. Oooh, post photos when you're done, please!
  2. I should bloody well hope so!
  3. Beautiful car, Kingy! I love the Z-Tune front fenders, bonnet, those BBS rims but especially the old-school GT-R badge!
  4. LOL, if you were living in NSW, you'd have to change your name to something ending in inks to fit in - three of the 40th Anniversary versions here are owned by Kinks (Geoff), Links (Anthony) and Tinks (Kasey)!
  5. Oh Hell Yeah! R33 4-door GT-R! Can I have it? Just put it in your luggage please!?!?!?
  6. Yep, and when choosing a choc, those huge Toblerones are the correct size and shape!
  7. Bought and installed a new battery today (with larger terminals to suit, and a new battery clamp to hold it in). I now have 610CCA's of juice available to kick my starter motor in the guts!
  8. Oh yeah, thanks Lizzeh! Only 4 left! Remaining stock: 1x grey/black Medium 2x blue/black Medium 1x blue/black 3X-Large Clearance prices: $110 for non-Members, or $90 for SAU-NSW club Members - that's $20 below usual, and below what it cost us to get them!!!
  9. Oh yeah, it certainly will! I suggest EVERYONE come prepared for this - better to have lots of layers of warm clothes and be able to remove them as necessary, rather than freeze to death on the day!
  10. Hey Chris, L2S licence is best organised before the day, but you will need an SAU Exec to sign it for you stating that you are a member of SAU-NSW. Link to licence application form: http://cams.com.au/Development/Get%20Invol...ation_2010.ashx It costs $100.
  11. How quick, Duncan? I ordered some clear blinkers (front and side), and was informed they were shipped on Wednesday. I'm so so so so so so tempted to buy those LED rears (like in the first post), but I think they're for s2 and I'm not sure I could be bothered stuffing around to swap the wiring. to suit my s1. Yes, I am lazy. No, I've never denied it!
  12. Oh, I also spotted a red s2 C34 off King Georges Road somewhere between 4.45 and 5.00pm. Might have been StageIan, not sure.
  13. Teren sent me an SMS just before 3.45pm stating that he was still at work and was unlikely to get out of there for a while - he was called into work unexpectedly, and was expecting to be at the meet around 2pm. The battery in my LOLvo is absolutely dead - left it on charge overnight, went to start it today, and it's gone! Wouldn't kick over at all, just made that ratcheting noise because it wasn't getting enough juice.
  14. All the above answers are correct! *rings bell, and awards points to all!*
  15. Another factor is that if you go for an AWD version, a majority of your suspension problems have already been worked out simply because of the fact that they're more common, so all that research has already been done and plenty of solutions are out there! I'm not saying that a RWD only model will rule out any mods to suspension, but you will *possibly* need more time to research what goes where and what parts are interchangeable with other Nissan models.
  16. LOL, got in my car to go out to lunch today, and the battery is dead, even though it ran fine last night! It's been on charge since lunch time, and I think I'll be carrying some jumper leads or parking on a hill tomorrow, just in case...
  17. Spotted and chatted to Aron (XX34XX) outside the Dick Smith store at the Junction in Northmead.
  18. Yep, exactly - weight and vehicle class are used to determine the RTA rego cost.
  19. Maybe bump up the saturation a bit, Sidd? I dunno, it looks a bit flat to me, and the model doesn't stand out enough from the background.
  20. It *might* be different for autos though. IIRC, a few people have had issues swapping, I think it was 4-bolt on one and 6-bolt on the other - can't remember exactly. Like I said, though, I'm not sure...
  21. Go and get some proper ADR-approved lines made up - skimping money on stuff for brakes is NOT something you want to do, so get it right the first time and you'll be sorted. wwwbraidedlines.com.au I think is the site to visit, then check if they have a branch/workshop near you.
  22. Pfft, wouldn't matter what you use, Reece... You could probably put us all to shame while you're riding a Big Wheel - who's old enough to remember those, btw???
  23. BTW, just ordered some clear blinkers for front and side of the LOLvo!
  24. I'm pretty sure you can edit your own post for up to 2hrs after you initially make it. *I think*
