  1. Sounds alright to me, Teren. Nice and close to home, and the right time of the day (I'm busy both Friday and Saturday night, so those are ruled out).
  2. I'm thinking of going for a Nismo Coppermix single as well - my clutch doesn't slip, but I'm sick of the constant shakes and on/off nature of a button clutch being used in a daily-driven car. Hopefully it'll be lighter to use, too.
  3. That's assuming they also help fund the infrastructure to produce and then distribute it, too!
  4. I took these the other night: I love how in these two shots, the ash floating up into the air is leaving "trails" of light. In this one, I've highlighted the area where there was water boiling from within the logs. The firewood that was bought was wet, unfortunately, so even though it did make the fire pretty smoky at times, it did give me a chance to capture this shot of the heat forcing the water to evaporate. In this last one, a cardboard tube was placed in the fire, and it made a chimney effect for a while until it caught on fire too.
  5. Oh, I love '32 four doors! All they really need is a GTR bonnet, grill and front bumper, a tough set of wheels, lowering and a dark tint, and they look awesome!
  6. Spotted some random last night in a red NA6 Mazda MX5 with black wheels - his face looked familiar from Coastie meets way-back-when!
  7. One I find handy quite regularly is my Narva LED torch (link: http://narva.com.au/products/browse/led-2, see item 71302). It's super-bright (450 lumens for 4hrs), stays charged for ages if it's barely used, and even better that I got it for FREE!
  8. It should be fine as long as you DON'T try and drive the car as if it was on a dyno run. Keep the wheel speeds low just to check if everything is working okay, and the vibration shouldn't be an issue.
  9. That could be bbenny's car, Cass.
  10. That's a bit harsh, Chris!
  11. Yeah, I should be heading up, mate. I usually go early now, to avoid the traffic and hit the shops for a feed and a wander.
  12. And Craig, when you definitely lock in a date, let me know and I will update the first post with the details.
  13. Do it, Micah!
  14. Hey ed-e-dee, welcome to the forums! Most of the information you've asked for can be found if you do a search, and the best place to always start with this particular enquiry is here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/M3...fo-t185569.html Getting a brochure may be nigh on impossible (at least, in English) because these cars were only sold new in Japan. There are plenty of promo ads that people have posted on YouTube, but again they'll all be in Japanese.
  15. Spotted a white R32 GTSt with R33 GTR wheels today parked in Stocklands at Baulkham Hills.
  16. Welcome to SAU, gents!
  17. Just a correction on the section of that post that I highlighted - the "EF-S" in a Canon lens description does not stand for "Stability," it stands for the fact that those lenses will ONLY fit cameras with the smaller APS-C sensor (i.e. 450D, 500D, 550D, 50D, 7D). If a lens is tagged as an "EF" lens, then it will fit cameras with either the APS-C or full-framed sensors (i.e. 1D MkIV, 1Ds MkIII, 5D MkII). If you've decided what you want, do an advanced search on Static Ice for the best pricing in your area, or check out Digital Camera Warehouse who have stores in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. If you don't mind buying from o/seas try B&H Photo Video in the US or DigitalRev in Hong Kong. I've bought from all 3 shops and the delivery dates were quick! Check this out too: http://www.digitalrev.com/en/5-reasons-the...88-article.html
  18. Oh, I forgot to mention that yesterday just after 5pm I saw a pearl white s2 crossing Parramatta Road in Auburn near the big Harvey Norman furniture store, I was waiting at the same lights heading home.
  19. I'm pretty sure Trapster is multi-platform too, so it can work on Blackberry, Nokias, Android-based phones, etc.. http://trapster.com/download_phones.php If you've got an iPhone, the location mapping isn't perfect, but if you close down Trapster, open the Maps App , lock in your location and then go back into Trapster, it's a lot better.
  20. Yeah, well it is being built on a budget, hence the plates "POV-031"
  21. Yep, count me in too. Seeing as a few of you guys (and girls?) won't be here until after the 20th of August, let's make it just after then? Same spot, Craig?
  22. Yep, I went to ESS to look for some thermals because I'm a skinny Mo-Fo and feel the cold badly. I'm sick of it, so I'm (finally) doing something to combat it, seeing as I can't put on weight. Where do you work? LOL Time for another meet-up, Craig? Hmm, and I decided at the last minute NOT to go up the coast last night. If I'd known you were going too, Teren, I would have headed up... Oh well, next week.
  23. Have you checked fuses? Might sound like a stupid question, but it's best to check the easiest, simplest things first.
  24. LOL, I was reminded this afternoon. It REALLY sucks!
  25. GSL also sell here on SAU, so check the classifieds section...
