  1. Fixed:
  2. Or, once again, you could just follow the road rules in the first place, and drive sensibly!
  3. A few from the Vivid Festival, taken on Sunday night:
  4. LOL, I seriously doubt he had no idea he had done it, unless he's used to all those bumping and scraping noises because he does it on a regular basis and chooses to ignore it. It sucks that people aren't just honest enough to cop the blame and face the consequences.
  5. Spotted "nizmO_Man" Ravi's R31 parked on Lvl 3 at Westpoint Blacktown, just a few rows over from my LOLvo.
  6. Take some photos and post them up, it will make things easier to identify and get help!
  7. So, Marssssssssss, is this happening next weekend or not, kind sir?
  8. Ahhh, more proof of why street racing is plain dumb!
  9. Yeah, maybe I need to find larger subjects so the frame is filled better, I dunno. I'm pretty sure the 100mm can be within roughly 30cm and still auto-focus, I'll have to experiment some more as well. I tried a few shots last night while I had some ideas and inspiration, so I'll have to process those (and the Superlap photos) soon. Here's a shot I took a while back, but when I cropped it the resolution dropped too much, so I'm wondering if there's a way to crop AND keep some resolution. Uncropped: Cropped: I've set up a RedBubble account (using the same username as here) and you're on my watchlist, so you should be able to link to my posted images there too. Oh, when you say you've borrowed lenses, do you get them off friends, or hire them? If you're hiring them, where are you getting them from?
  10. Agreed, take heaps of photos using different settings and just experiment to see what works. Even something as simple as putting your camera on a tripod, not moving it, and just playing with random settings on the camera can teach you a whole lot! Oh, and forget the "Auto" mode - read some books/magazines/websites and watch some videos on YouTube or Canon's own "World of EOS" site. There's no use having a D-SLR if you're only going to use the Auto mode.
  11. This car is awesome on so many epic levels!
  12. Just remember that you're comparing a newish car to something that is at a minimum at least 10 years old. Considering their age, the Stagea is still an incredible car, and has features which even many new Commodores and Falcons STILL don't have.
  13. Is your car green, Bob? If so, it's more of a twin to my car than Hugh (66yearold)'s or his son's - neither are s1 RS-Four's converted to manual! Mine's lowered on the Sydneykid Bilstein/Whiteline set-up, no idea of front and rear ride heights, I'll have to measure them later. Old photo:
  14. Awesome macro shots, Sidd. I've gotta ask, how close can you be to the subject to get a fully-filled frame and still be in focus, especially with a 180mm focal length? I've got a 100mm f/2.8 USM Macro, and sometimes feel as if I can't get enough detail while still making sure the frame's filled enough.
  15. I'm also keen to hear about the results - good luck Darrin!
  16. LOL, I'd forgotten I'd signed up, but I just got the email and replied with "Yes" to the survey.
  17. An R34 PowerFC (if you can find one) with the "Secret Squirrel" mod (I'm sure wolverine will cover this) is probably your best bet if you want an aftermarket one...
  18. Maybe check if the newer Canon cameras will do video feed via the EOS utility - like the 550D or the 7D? Ring around, ask a few established camera shops, etc.
  19. Yep, as you've previously mentioned, Canons can do "tethered shooting" while plugged into a laptop or desktop computer. Could you not use this software linked to an external GPS plotter in conjunction with one of the newer D-SLRs with video function built-in? One USB cable and a fully charged camera battery should serve a few hours, right? And why not just record data to a memory card then transfer later? Does it have to be recorded "live" to the laptop? (I'm just asking, as I'm not sure what the purpose of your set-up will be). Things like optical zoom range, small size/lightness of weight, etc. *might* be addressed in this article: http://www.digitalrev.com/en/the-dslr-vide...24-article.html
  20. But you have bewbs, Shell - of course you have nothing to worry about!
  21. Was good to finally meet you too, dude (and Teren, too)! That other green s1 I'm pretty sure:
  22. Fuel pump re-wiring: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Fu...Rew-t91993.html and http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/wi...mp-t234796.html
  23. Today I did 11ty-billion laps of Eastern Creek in my LOLvo at Superlap. Unfortunately, none of those laps were ON the track, but running around between all the different areas for viewing different sections of the track throughout the day.
