  1. Oh yeah, Do-Luck Double Sixes they are indeed - gorgeous wheels!
  2. Count me in for that date, Mars!
  3. I was gonna ask where you got that coilpack cover from, Duncan - good find! And yeah, Chris @ Craved Coatings is doing some awesome work, and he's definitely putting the hard yards in! I think he sleeps (much) less than I do!
  4. Oi you!
  5. Hey Andrew, I moved your post to the WTB section so you should be able to get a few more hits. I've left a link in the Stagea section, though.
  6. Ahh cool, "the Ark" looks cool! Made for a good backdrop. Yeah, I'm not too familiar with the Penrith area because I don't venture out there much, but that will change soon because my sister is in the process of moving there. I might go and scope out Norwest this afternoon, actually. The new hospital is up and running, I think, and from Old Windsor Road it looks like it's a fairly modern-looking building. Oh, I went for a drive to Rouse Hill a few months ago because while I was leaving the shops there I thought I saw a little area that looked like it might be a park with a small parking lot. I thought I'd check it out to see if it'd be suitable for any photos, but it turns out it's just a turning/parking bay and nothing more... Might be an idea to the shops themselves one night really late to see if we can use the area for photos when no-one's around.
  7. Ouch, Duncan! I've had issues with Shell V-power as well, but nothing that bad - I think I registered about 60 on the PFC, can't remember exactly since it was a long time ago. Never had problems with running United Boost98 - it's what my car was tuned on by Mark, and the servo is just down the road from me, so it's handy. Sydneykid started using it early on in his Stagea and other cars and never had problems, so I started using it too.
  8. Everything right up until that very last thing listed sounds great, Craig.
  9. Bah, I've really gotta get my sh!t together and organise a full iPhone integration for my car too.
  10. Fair enough - the last thing you want is for it to break down so far from home! Then again, I could have folded my rear seats down (if necessary) and you could have wheeled the mini into the back of my car! LOL
  11. I've got '32 GTR seats in mine, and as Darrin mentioned, you do sit HEAPS lower!
  12. Yar, as much as I'd like a manual M35 (even if it is n/a), I can't justify paying $43k for one to get one through J-Spec. Hopefully the pricing comes down, and soon! Actually, they've been listed as eligible for import, but have J-Spec (or anyone, for that matter) done the complaince certification for them yet?
  13. Sidd and Matt, where are these locations, please? I've been looking for a few good places to take some shots of my car and others around the Parramatta, Blacktown and Hills areas...
  14. Oh, me too! Also spotted YOU and Kasey today, and later on Anna.
  15. Spotted Andrew (02stagea) last night at the Berowa Truckstop in his Mini - and for the fact it's a Mini I understand why you brought it along. What happened to you? I assumed you were coming up the coast, I would have liked to have had another look at the car in better light.
  16. ALWAYS call, I've hear that the insurers regularly do this because they know that some people will just pay it without question. If you ring and ask them, it's likely that they will give you a reduced rate. Usually, you wouldn't even need to cancel the old policy if you stuck to the same insurer... It never hurts to ask anyway - the worst they can say is no, and if you don't ask you'll never know if the option for better pricing is there. I use this philosophy whenever I buy just about anything that I believe can be discounted.
  17. Today I plonked myself in the car and drove it around, and I'll be doing more of that in just under an hour! Does that count?
  18. Ferds told me it's pretty much been their most reliable car, Corinne. It was parked out the front when I dropped in there this afternoon to talk to him and Amy.
  19. So, punks, it's been too long, and I'm STILL usually the only Stagea at a Coastie met. Who's coming along this week?
  20. My old man had a B5-series Audi A4 that was hit at the front and written off, but the airbags never went off. I'm pretty sure it's because he was stationary at the time, and it was the car that hit him that was moving, so the airbag computers were "missing" one of the key ingredients (i.e. speed) in the sequence of things to check before firing them off.
  21. Oh, I forgot to mention I saw a glimpse of a white C34 heading West on Parramatta Road last Sunday - it was around 5.45PM, but I can't even remember what suburb I saw it in. I think it was between Strathfield and Leichhardt, but not sure. I was a passenger in my cousin's car heading into Enmore.
  22. On a series 1, you can't find out the outside temperature, but on a series 2, you push in on the dial that you use to adjust the air-con temperature.
  23. I'm keen too... As I actually participated in the last Texi instead of just helping out all day, I'm keen to do more events like this because I had a ball! My car isn't really suitable for 'Khana-style events, but I enjoyed being able to drive it hard in a controlled environment.
  24. Oh-oh...
  25. Yeah, very lucky, mate! Good to hear you're in recovery mode, too.
