  1. I just edited my post too, have a quick look.
  2. June dates preferred by me, please Kacey! Oh, and don't forget next weekend is a long weekend, so probably double-demerits. Also, we've got an SAU Members' Only cruise on set for Sunday: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Of...rs-t315554.html
  3. Ahhh, Grant - he was so typical of the "America knows best" attitude. Quite probably a nice guy, but I guess we'll never know.
  4. I saw Terry's post about Casula Powerhouse earlier and came across this while reading a photography blog called "52 Suburbs." 52Suburbs.com visits Liverpool
  5. Friend Fail requires Double Face Palm...
  6. Parramatta Road is part of the Great Western Highway, strictly speaking.
  7. I took these two shots (amongst others) the other day while I was at my cousin's house for Easter lunch and dinner. Unfortunately, I didn't think to clean the chrome-backed mirror of my cousin's Prado before taking these shots, and I'd forgotten how much extra detail you get with a D-SLR. I'm not yet nearly good enough to go thru it with Photoshop to clone out all the blemishes, so all I've done for these is some exposure, saturation and cropping adjustments.
  8. Spotted a Bayside Blue R34 GTR with gold Volk GT-C's parked on Merrylands Road in Greystanes tonight...
  9. It needs a bit of lowering in my opinion, but otherwise looks great! Congrats!
  10. Spotted what I think was this same s1 tonight, this time parked on Targo Road in Toongabbie.
  11. On a black GTSt? That's crazy talk, Mars, and you know it! Who'd be insane enough to try that?
  12. Where were those taken, Matt? There's some pretty good graf right near Seven Hills station that I might use one day soon for some shots of my car.
  13. There's a program I've got on my iPhone that measures acceleration, braking, g-forces (on a skidpan or during acceleration/braking) and approximate power outputs. It's called Dynolicious, here's a link... I haven't had a chance to use it yet because I like owning a car and having a licence and dont' want to risk either of those by "practicing" on the road, so maybe at the next track day or skid pan day I'll try them out.
  14. I think you turned in front of us from Carrington Rd, and I turned off to go into the Homemaker Centre, where you continued on towards Showground Rd.
  15. The "N" signifies AWD in pretty much all Nissans.
  16. LOL, this thread is almost 3 years old, peoples!
  17. No, gents, that was an R33 four-door. Oh, today I spotted another 2 C34's - one was a silver s1 heading along Abbott Rd onto Seven Hills Rd/Prospect Highway in Seven Hills around 4.30PM, the other was a white s2 on King Street in Newtown around 8.30PM.
  18. Spotted Aron in his R34 GT this arvo on Victoria Avenue, Castle Hill. I was rolling stealth in my old man's Audi.
  19. Spotted a dark blue R32 four-door parked at Tuggerah Westfields today - the poor car was rather beaten up and not in the best condition.
  20. LOL, I was up the Coast today too, Stephen, but didn't go down Kariong hill. I did, however, go to Tuggerah Westfields and parked next to a rather strange M35 AR-X 2.5T.
  21. Thanks dude! Yeah, I'm not into the whole "bling" thing, so keeping it very low-key is my preference. I also want to get an R34/S15 three-spoke wheel, and have been watching the Jap auctions via Import Monster and seen a few potential bargains popping up, so I'll have to order one soon. Was the plug for the airbag the same? Another thing I want to get is a standard Skyline gearknob to replace my Nismo one, as I prefer the feel of the standard one. I'm no too worried if it's an R32, R33 or R34 one, as long as it's in decent condition. Oh yeah, as far as my stereo is concerned, apart from the Alpine head unit in the photos, I've got two pairs of similar Boston Accoustics speakers in the car - splits in the front, and the same series co-axials in the rear, all running straight off the deck. I really want to upgrade the stereo soon, and if the speakers are blown, I'll probably replace them with a similar set, but I'll be adding a sub, an amp or two (either a single 5-channel if there are any decent ones, or a 4-channel plus a mono or bridged for the sub). I wanna run a rear camera and be able to plug in my iPhone, so upgrading the stereo to another single-DIN unit with a screen will be amongst the upgrades there. Cruise-control is a must too, so I'll be chasing Duncan soon to get details of the mob that installed his. And yeah, I do need to get more pictures of the interior...
  22. The only way to know if it's right for YOU is to go and drive one. I love my C34, but the M35 is very nice too, but they're very different cars.
  23. There's no real way to check a timing belt for wear unless there are teeth missing, and obviously if it's at that stage then it'll need to be replaced anyway. If you're uncertain as to whether it's been done or not, get it replaced. If it does let go, then there's the risk of serious engine damage. I'm not sure if the RB series of engines are interference or non-interference type (I've never asked, been told, or done any research to find out), but if it IS an interference engine, then there's the very expensive risk of pistons hitting valves and destroying the pistons, valves, other parts of the head and maybe even the engine block.
  24. Pfft, the problem with most places is that the staff are salesmen first, and enthusiasts somewhere wwwwaaaaayyy down the line there. They don't really care too much about the product (and generally aren't required to), as long as they can convince the customer to sign on the line. Remember, the majority of people out there either couldn't care less about the car or buy it in a heart ruling head situation or emotional state, where they think "hey, this thing looks good, I think I'll buy it."
