  1. Why on earth did that owner remove brakes, suspension and the LSD? Surely those are things that make the car better, right? Especially brakes!
  2. *adrift I quite like my fog horns, actually! Would love a train horn to scare some idiots off the road, too!
  3. Hmm, I've gotta admit I was assuming here, and was only going by what badges I saw.
  4. It's been ages since I've thought any photos I've taken have been worthy of showing, and these two aren't that great either, but meh... IMG_5094-Edit by GoldZilla, on Flickr IMG_5092-Edit by GoldZilla, on Flickr
  5. LOL, Terry, the Stagea badge is a unicorn, not a horse! That is pretty close to home, but it can't have been me because, until tonight, my car hasn't left the garage since last Saturday night 19/4/2014.
  6. Spotted 3 different V36 coupes (all Skylines, no Infinitis) in Ashfield tonight when I was there for dinner. Parked my Stagea behind a red one in Hercules Street, then saw a silver one and a black one on Liverpool Road while I was on my way back to Parramatta Road.
  7. Brian, you have to change the permissions on your FB album so people can tag themselves or each other.
  8. Spotted a two-tone black over silver R31 GTS coupe in Seven Hills this afternoon, was this you Fordy31?
  9. This has been on my To-Do list for, oh, about 5 years now...
  10. That could be wolverine's wife, Gav. They live in that area and my sister used to see that car a lot when she was working nearby quite a few years ago.
  11. St Paul's in Winston Hills? Nope, but not too far away, and I do go past there a fair bit on the way to the shops around the corner. Not always in my Stagea, sometimes in my parent's cars (my mum's light blue Golf or my dad's black A4 wagon).
  12. Yep, I probably did. I live up the road and often see a V35 sedan in either a silver or a champagne gold. I spend a lot of time either on Station Road heading west or Old Windsor Road heading east.
  13. Oh man, you just killed me with this Dale! I'm so stoked with my mum's Golf Mk. VII hatch, and am tempted to get a wagon as a daily (shame I can't justify spending two lots of insurance and rego). If it's even offered as a GTI it would be awesome just to see them on the roads here, even if I can't afford one for myself as an only car (after getting rid of the Stagea). A Highline 103TSI wagon with DSG just like Mum's would be awesome, even in the same colour. A set of wheels, slight lowering, exhaust, tint, and it's pretty much done! If tuning options become available, then I'd consider them.
  14. RS-Four autos (whether s1 or s2, it doesn't matter) have a wider rear subframe than factory manuals, so it'd be a tight fit without a fair bit of camber. I've had 18x9.5 +15s on mine as a trial fitment and the rears stuck out around 15mm.
  15. Sweet! Please give her some extra time to reply and sort everything out - she's VERY pregnant and about to pop out a child any day now, so may be pre-occupied with that for at least a few weeks...
  16. In all honestly you might as well just buy a new aftermarket ECU and have that tuned and be done with it. The advantage here is that if you choose to do further mods later, it will be just as easy (if not easier) to adjust the tune. At the very least, you should explore the option and figure out if it will be better value for money, rather than buying a Z32 ECU, re-wiring it, trying it, and finding out it still might not work.
  17. Yep, I remember sitting next to Duncan in Kel's old 350Z convertible during a go-to-whoa a few years back. Was much fun, even from the passenger's seat!
  18. Details for the next Texi will be announced closer to the date - we've got a few other things lined up for Club Members in the mean time. If you're not a paid-up Club Member, why not? There are quite a few events that we put on which are exclusive to Members, and the only way you'll hear about them before they're on is if you're part of SAU-NSW.
  19. On Friday afternoon last week, I seemed to have spotted more V35 and V36 Skylines in that one afternoon than I have over months at a time! I honestly think I saw at least 12 of them between 2.30pm and 9.15pm.
  20. Yep, those who were there yesterday would know that it's just as much fun to skid and slide in the rain! If you weren't there yesterday, why not??? It's an awesome day, so make sure you get yourself down to our next ones when they are announced.
