  1. Good stuff, Ben - some awesome vids in there. I love the one where the Camaro was being pushed back into the car park and the guys were making engine and skid noises!
  2. Do it, Dale! I'll be calling the venue this week to try and secure some more dates. Keep an eye on the NSW Events section (http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Events-f33.html). For a wrap-up of yesterday, check this thread out: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Te...Te-t306227.html
  3. EC has been a pain to organise for us as far as club-related events go, and they're pretty expensive too... And yeah, they've already started demolishing OP - such a shame, it was a great track for the very few times I managed to get my car out there.
  4. I agree, SAU-NSW had our "Texikhana" skidpan day that I'd helped to co-ordinate a few times previously, so this time I decided I'd be entering. I had THE BEST DAY, and on the cruise home I spent most of it sitting 5-10km/h under the speed limit.
  5. 'Bout time you finally shredded those tyres, Cass - good work!!! Does that rule me out from the "thanks" because I drove around 15 minutes to get there??? I also hope more of the photos of my car make it through processing so I can rub it in to all the other Sydney-based Stagea owners how much fun I had, and how they missed out! Duncan is let off because he kindly gave up his spot with the higher than expected numbers so others could get a go, and he would have killed me anyway. Still, it would have been great to see photos and vids of two Stageas battling it out!
  6. Spotted Sh@un in his newly acquired (and somewhat de-turbo'd, lol ) s1 Stagea today at the SAU-NSW Texikhana.
  7. Indeed it was, Sammeh! Were you going to visit your little nephew?
  8. Is it really worth the risk to your licence and wallet??? I don't understand why you'd bother - if you've just got your licence and now have the freedom of driving pretty much when and wherever you like, why would you jeopardise that???
  9. Spotted Sammeh in the Lancer going right past my street as I was getting home from Texi - I probably wouldn't have know it was him but for the big wave out the window and flashing of the headlights.
  10. Indeed, a massive thanks to Yavuz at Unigroup Engineering for the prizes we gave out today. Also, a big thanks to all the people who organised and helped out today - as Chubbs, Steve-O and Doof have already mentioned, these days could not go ahead without your help and support, so THANK YOU! LOL!!!
  11. LOL, Craig, was it the "green with 18" alloys" that gave it away??? I wouldn't mind a nice set of BBS rims, actually...
  12. Replace wheels with something NOT chrome, replace the wing (or add a drift lip), and lower it at least an inch or two, and then you'll be heading in the right direction. 4/10, but these are just my views...
  13. LOL, CeJay, I thought that building was on fire when I first looked at it!
  14. LOL, I like it! Good choice of plates. Those wheels are a great match too - a simple, clean design!
  15. Anything that stiffens the basic chassis will help the suspension work better.
  16. Spotted this same car again this evening around 6.30pm on the M4 heading East, just past Homebush. Number plates were PL34ZN.
  17. Spotted a white R34 with what looked kinda like a Nismo stripe kit (red, grey and black) on it, no rear wing. This was in the main street of Toongabbie around 2.30pm.
  18. What a fking nutter!
  19. Looking at the comments after the article, it seems I'm not the only one who shares this view.
  20. Hmmm, looking at it again, I think they should have done a full re-skin of the tailgate if they wanted any chance of the lights looking anything near to a factory job. Overall, that's probably my biggest issue with the car, and I hate mods that look like an afterthought. The way they've just covered the standard Stagea lights and then kinda "thrown" the C10-style lights on over the top is the main thing that makes it look crapola...
  21. LOL, looks like the plastic bucket they put over a cat's or dog's head after it's been cut'n'shut (desexed)...
  22. Okay, PJ, Aggroman David, his brother Adrian and myself are here, where is everyone else???
  23. That's gotta be a piss-take, or someone who is rather over-confident, or REALLY has tickets on themselves! He/She says he/she's only just got their camera, yet they've already developed a "speciality" and a "style?" WTF???
  24. I think anything with frameless windows will be the same, Chris. Subarus have the same problem, from what I've seen...
