  1. I'm entering the LOLvo right now. Will I have some Stagea competition???
  2. I might come along, Mark, and seeing as I missed the boat procrastinating about whether to go or not, I can fire off some photos instead...
  3. Yeah, agreed, but sometimes function comes before form... It's one of those things you wouldn't use that often, but it would be handy to have when you needed it.
  4. Yeah, that's what I thought too.
  5. Me too, and mine's a series 1. Thinking about it, I believe mine would have been amongst the very first manual conversions in the country at the time. I've owned the car for 4 years, and the previous owner, "Argo," had done a few conversions (including an atmo RB25 to full RB26 conversion) while living in Japan before moving back to Australia and converting the car I currently own. A few other choice items I've seen in Stageas: The interior halogen downlight-style lamp that can be fitted to a socket on either the rear passenger side D-pillar or the same style socket on the inside of the tailgate. The heads-up display that sits where the factory clock usually goes in the centre of the dash (but I can't remember what it displays).
  6. Yep, wide tyres can actually be a detriment in the wet - because there's so much more contact surface, there's also more water to get rid of between the tyre and the road so it can make proper contact...
  7. WTF??? Agreed with everyone else, it looks OK from the front, but the back is - to put it in some sort of context - odd... More photos would be greatly appreciated, though, so we can get a better idea of how successfully the rest of the car has been done. Yep, I'll pass on that one too.
  8. Ahh cool, thanks Shanil. Last time I was near Bungalow 8, they were still doing construction on that building and that bit of road was closed off.
  9. Threadless rules!
  10. Washing machine *shouldn't* be an issue in the back of the Stagea.
  11. LOL, the interstate domestics have begun!
  12. http://justjap.com/store/product.php?produ...=307&page=1 or check out Just Jap's section in the Classifieds area to see if they're running even better deals for forum member... They re-open tomorrow.
  13. Agreed, good stuff Eddeh!
  14. Cool, when are you heading off, and when do you return?
  15. Ahh was it? I only live in Toonie (as does StageIan, barely 2mins drive away). It seems that there are quite a few of us in the Parra/Holroyd/Blacktown areas, so why don't we cross paths more often?
  16. Hahaha, my parents bought a new mattress a few weeks before Christmas, and of course the LOLvo was roped into bringing it home on the roof. Shot was fired off on the iPhone, so the quality is not the best.
  17. Ahh okay. My cousin tells me there's some pretty good graffiti near Seven Hills station that might be worth taking some shots of. When you're in the area next, let me know and we can go and check it out if you want.
  18. Where were they taken, Sammeh?
  19. LOL, did I just see you again in North Parramatta, on Church Street? I saw you wave, but didn't get time to wave in return, but I did beep.
  20. Spotted a gold M35 AR-X on the M4, heading East between The Northern Rd and Mamre Rd around 5.45pm today...
  21. Yep, must have been you, Andrew. I was going past the speed cameras near Pemulway (sp?), if I remember correctly. A white s2 in my hood? I've only ever seen Alex (CL11QE) on the odd occasion that he's been on his way to or from my house in a white s2.
  22. Spotted a silver V36 near the airport while I was on my way home from there, then later on a red R34 GTt on King Georges Rd about to pull out of a servo.
  23. The signal here is glitching out badly, so I can't watch it. The other channels seem to be fine, but 634 is having major issues.
  24. Especially easier on an RB26 as you don't have to fight with the intake plumbing which goes over the engine on an RB25...
