I think so. it's simple enough, just pop the vents out, then pop the center console out. center console removes easier if you take the center pocket out and push underneath it. then it's just as simlpe as unscrewing the headunit and replacing. I have a gap in mine at the moment, i'm waiting to try and find a set of 3 guages that i can fit in there, otherwise i'll have to make my own

I have a large V12 alpine amp, it's fairly big, about 400mm long. i don't want to lose my spare tyre, so i'll be mounting it either inside or on top of the sub box. i measured up the back end, and i think i've got it sorted out to the size of the box required.

I just finished installing my new head unit and amp into the stagea. took me a while but i don't have any wires showing what so ever. it's really a rather simple job, you just have to be prepared to pull most of your interior trim out to hide the wires, same as you would in any car. i ran the power cable for the Amp down the inside of the front right quarter panel straight to the battery, and it goes all the way back to the amp, which at the moment is just sitting in the boot. i'm rigging up a custom sub box in the next few weeks, which i will take photo's of during the install. My plans are to have 2 x 10" or 12" subs plus the amp sitting in a box which deosn't look outrageous, but does the job. will keep every one informed if anyone wants/needs to know anything about stereo installs

Series 2 has the fog lights inside the front grill, not part of the headlights. that's the most obvious one. also, they have the NEO engine, instead of the standard RB25DET. I'm sure there's heaps more, but that's all i needed to know to tell them apart

well i was being followed by my brother in my old skyline, a stagea with skyline in tow usually sticks out, maybe it just wasn't your day? I guess it was christmas day and there was about a billion other cars on the road too.

yeah it was an old 300, a Z31. i though it was a 180 at first, but up close you can see the difference

i picked up my RS4 for $18,500. if you look around a bit more i'm sure you'll find a much better deal. $30k sounds a bit expensive for a '96

spotted a white R33 with NSW plates at autobarn in belco. i was in there sorting out my stereo. i've got it all layed out on my floor now, ready for the install tomorrow, ooo yeah

i've been convinced to take my landcruiser out because it can hold 6 and i have 5 mates with me, so no Stagea action tonight. i'll be in braddon so long as it's not closed like last night, that was the biggest downer of the night

I've only seen 3 skylines at the nats so far, a silver R33, an orangey coloured R33 and a gunmetal R32. not bad cars, but so out of place among all the muscle cars

i'll be coming out, but just to get out. i won't be cruising around. i remember last year and lonsdale st didn't move. i might drop by and see how you guys are going. the nats was awesome today, but i'm so over falcodores

Spotted: Sinista in his R32 along parkes way or piallago way or whatever the road that goes to the airport is called. you wouldn't have seen me though, i was in my landcruiser

i've been here but i haven't been doing anything with the car, so nothing to post really. give me until after summernats, i'll have some nice pics to post up of some mods i've done

I've got some mates in Bathurst who drives skylines who would be keen on something like that, it's hard for them to get to meet other skyline drivers.

Thanks mate. they're only stock rims, i'm getting them upgraded after the nats i'm sure we have 2 of the rarest cars in canberra that look like 2 of the most common cars

Yeah i'll be around all weekend at the nats and in braddon. driving around during nats is usually suicidal for imports anyways, with random vehicle (read: import) inspections
