  1. Is this the Quater panel or the intercooler guard?
  2. spotted: Black R33 GTR on haydon drv tonight. very sweet ride Thanks Sigputnik, although she's not as nice when you look close up. keyed down drivers side, 2 dents in passenger door from nice people opening onto it, interior wrecked from another nice person borrowing my stereo without asking me and the front bumper is crooked care of my housemate. but thank anyways, appreciate it
  3. i've gotta get some study done else i won't be graduating this year, sorry guys maybe next time
  4. short cruises to someplace for a feed or just a chat would be good, just so we can show the community not all people that drive imports are hoons, unlike a certain current affair show would like to have people think. bbq's out at cotter is an awesome idea. having a group night at a restaurant or some place would be sweet, maybe even a group discount could be organised? also what about going to the footy or cricket as a group depending on the time of year. i'm up for anything social and warm.
  5. that's some good info, i regularly drive north on the parkway to belco at that time, i'll make sure i'm right on 100 as i come to the underpass. sometimes down the hill it sneaks up to 110 - 120 without me noticing
  6. yeah i'm keen. hopefully we can get more skylines cruising than last time, i need a distraction from study.
  7. they park them on maribyrnong ave in kaleen a lot down near one of the primary schools. i've been caught by it once by surprise, i was only going 69 in a 60. but at night i see them always parked behind signs on the side of the road trying to look inconspicuous. isn't there a law or something that says they have to be visable to a certain extent? hiding behind signs or in bushes is hardly visable
  8. where do they go after they've finished making enough money at night? if that got out a lot of people would make sure they never came out again
  9. Spotted: Silver R34 4 door in belco this arvo, got a wave, gave a thumbs up.
  10. spotted: silver R34 heading down barry drive into civic. i gave a big thumbs up, but couldn't see into the tint to get a reply. nice sounding car though.
  11. that's an awesome front bar, do you know what brand it is?
  12. i have my aftermarket bov on my intercooler piping and the stock one still in place on top of the engine. i don't think the stock one works though, nothing it connected to it, so i'm guessing it's just there to stop the hole.
  13. I've been having trouble with my AAC lately too, my idle has been ocnstantly at 1500rpm. i disconnected it then adjusted the screw to idle at 700rpm. i didn't reconnect it and the car runs fine without it connected, so im curious as to whether its stuffed.
  14. the screw only adjusts if you have the AAC diconnected while doing it. if it's connected, the ecu compensates and there isn't a change. when i initially disconnected the AAC it almost stalled, so i had to turn it up to 700rpm to get it to run smoothly
  15. yeah i pulled the AAC valve off and cleaned it, it didn't change anything. the revs are constantly high, they only drop very rarely, but usually bounce back up once i drive then stop again.
  16. Lately my car has been idling at around 1500rpm sometimes while warm, but then drops back to normal 700rpm. the other day it decided to sit at 2000rpm while cold, then down to 1500rpm. i've noticed a ticking sound in the engine bay which is coming from a solenoid that is located at the front of the inlet side of the engine next to the injector off cylinder 1. when this makes a tick, it will idle up to 1500, then another tick and it goes back down to 700. these ticks are different in sound, so im guessing its the solenoid turning on/off. is this the detonation sensor? what could cause this swtich to go spastic and turn on/off all the time. Anywho, with the idle at 1500, i cleaned the AFM, no change. i disconnected the AAC valve and adjusted the little screw to set it at 700rpm, then plugged the AAC valve back in and it shot up to 1500rpm. currently i'm driving with the AAC valve disconnected because it runs fine, would this mean my AAC valve is stuffed? is it a bad thing to drive around with the AAC valve disconnected? Anywho, i've checked the forums for similar circumstances, but it seems im alone with this one. any help appreciated.
  17. spotted a silver R33 GTR at BP in Phillip while i was filling up. had Qld plates, maybe a new import? looked clean from what i could see.
  18. Spotted: pink R33 in woden tonight at 6ish. that's a crazy colour
  19. Spotted: Gungrey R32 following me home today past UC. couldn't tell if it was GTR or GTSt, but was nice and clean.
  20. why do you only drive once a week? i feel odd if i don't drive at least once a day
  21. yeh it was messy. a few of my mates mistook it for my car too, because i'm always parked at ANU. they thought i'd come off or something and wrecked my car.
  22. hehe, nup. wrong again. sorry dude. i know which one you're talking about though. if it helps, i've got NSW plates
  23. Nah mate, i've got a Gunmetal Grey S1.
  24. The 2001 interior looks very symmetrical. this is probably for easy conversion to american/european markets. The earlier models don't look quite as good as skyline interiors, but then again, they're not exactly skylines.
