  1. that datto had a go at me last weekend as well coming around parliament house onto adelaide avenue. he waved me on to give me a go, but i just sat on my 80. he was in the bus lane too. the bastard was doing about 80-90 then did a 2 wheel burnout fishtailing it, that thing must have a fair bit of stick
  2. i saw that Yellow one with the stripes as well one day heading north on parkway, can't remember which day it was.
  3. i got more attention from my mates wanting to drive it or be driven in it than chicks. people at work always talk about "that skyline out the back", i've told a few people, now everyone wants to see it when i finish work. its fun for a bit of a laugh, but i think the girls i know and hang around with have different ideas about material possessions.
  4. The other day as i was pulling onto the parkway a black 33 came up next to me. i gave him a friendly nod.
  5. that sounds like what my friend got when she was caught with an unrego'd car, around $800. it's a bastard of a fine, especially if you're only out by a day or so.
  6. A googleplex of skylines
  7. I called my old car "Betsy", it was a kingswood. i haven't got a name for my skyline yet.
  8. yeah that was him, i thought the car was familiar
  9. I parked next to a yellow R34 GTT at belco in front of pizza hut, then you followed me down to Ginninderra Dr, i'm sure its the one that parks in dickson. i would have waved except i almost spilt my coke on my crotch, very cold.
  10. I think its a common drawback of owning a skyline, you get everyone falcodore wanting to drag you. i get them all the time, i just get to 60/80 as fast as i can, then stay there. tey make it there duty to do the loser flyby with their hands out the window either thumbs up or birdies. i value my licence and car too much to go speeding through the city. i've only just moved into a new place, and there's a guy up the road with a WRX, he makes it his duty to drive past my place every night whenever i've left my car out the front to rev his car as he goes past. I've even had some guy in the city (drunk) say, "i wasn't pissing on your car mate, i'd never do that to a skyline, its too cool, is that a GTR? make it drift, bag it up mate, do some nuts" yeah, ill do that with cops across the road watching my every move. and if i pass someone on the road coz they're going slower than posted speed limit, they speed up and drive past me staring. its disturbing sometimes.
  11. sounds like fun, but im going to barham that weekend, 7hours in the middle of knowhere...
  12. so who's heading to the BDO this weekend? my mate scored tickets to fridays show, im really looking forward to it. the Boiler room has an awesome lineup.
  13. i was kicking around manuka at about 1am, then a guy in a flashy looking VL turbo tried to go me, so i let him try and get as many speeding tickets as he wanted
  14. the painful thing was that monaro had a fair bit of rear end damage, looked like it had hit something or something had hit it. that supercharger/whatever thingy was bigger than the car, im surprised it didn't tear itself off
  15. i saw that car getting around, looked pretty sweet. i was kicking around braddon afterwards, saw a few skylines around but didn't want to make a fool of myself asking randoms if they were on SAU. i avoided lonsdale as it was bumper to bumper, plus Mr RTA doesn't aprove of my car.
  16. if you want to argue it you'd have to go to court, they'd probably give you a probation licence or something allowing you to get to work and back. i got mine suspended on my P's too, but we had 4 points back then. i tried everything to get out of it, but they're hard as nails on P platers. i just copped in on the chin and rode a bike for 3 months.
  17. if you want to get pedantic, the GTT is 206kW, the GTR is 208kW. R34 was my next in line car, but im looking for a C34 Stagea 26RS instead, considered that? they're around $45 - 65k though, a bit more than a GTT, but not as much as the GTR (same engine as GTR)
  18. the thing i couldn't get over was the jet powered donut king van. i thought it was a g-up, but the bloody thing flew. that's next on my xmas list, a jet engine.
  19. i saw massive pain today. i was coming out of dickson going up ellenborough. there was an awesoem old style ford with the open out back seat, and a hot pink what looked like an escort ute. then behind them was a white R33 with a MASSIVE dent in its passenger. i hope it wasn't a local or someone on here, i feel for you if you are. it hurt to look at it.
  20. yeah i was down the south coast in Tathra on new years, a fair few people from Canberra there. only saw 2 other skylines, and only for a second. a black 32 and a gun-grey 33 like mine. i was a bit trashed and yelled out to the guy "hey i got one too!" the locals loved the car though, i met a heap of good blokes because i was just sitting around my car with my mates hitting the piss. they parked me in though, which was good.
  21. i saw a wine R33 with a big Nismo sitcker heading towards belco around 6-ish. i gave you a wave, but dunno if you saw me
  22. i spotted a whole bunch of falcodores in my rear vision mirror yesterday, but not anymore, double demerits until 4th Jan...
  23. All i remember from last years summernats are bumper to bumper RTA road stops... lotsa defects getting given away that weekend. i'd prefer not to get another one, so i think my quiet exhaust will have to come out for the weekend. how do the petrol head V8 owners react with the sleek turbo machines? i can't comment on it much, i've had both now
  24. the yellow one is an R34, i see it quite often when im driving through dickson. I see people all the time, but always going the other way. i don't think my skyline sticks out much though, its fairly stock except lowered with rims + zaust
  25. Shell, i had that exact problem when i bought my line. your indicator relay switch is burnt out. luckily, its the same switch as the N14 Pulsar, that's be your best bet to fix it. you only have to pull the column apart, not a hard job.
