Do you have a contact number for them? every time i try to get to their website it says it's down.

Bosch 040 is not a direct replacement for the Series 1. I have an 040 and i had to remove part of the cradel and modify the connectors for the power. it does fit nicely once done, but don't expect it to be a simple replacement.

What do you do to get a premium like that? Neither myself or my friend (who owns an imported MR2 GT-T) can get below $1800 a year with JCI. Do you have any traffic fines like speeding or neg driving? i think that's what's hurting me, i was a bit of a rebel when i started driving.

I'm pretty sure Beastien has an R34 PFC, but he had to tweak it slightly to make it work, something to do with ignition timing if i recall correectly.

its the solenoid that opens your fresh/recirculate air flap. mine did it right after i bought it, so i removed it. problem solved you get to it behind the glovebox

Thanks for all the replies guys. At this point in time I only need 3 cars. If I still have mine I'll only need 2, but I don't know if I'll have sold it by then or not (need slightly cheaper transport / insurance at the moment). I'll have to talk it over with the missus what colours/styles we go for, but that's a bit further down the track at the moment. The course has been set, we're having our ceremony at a chapel in Woodville, which is on clarence town road. We'll go from there into the City for photo's at a few yet to be determined locations, then finish at Harbourview for the reception. All up I think there will be about 3 hours of driving/waiting in the day. Cheers.

At the moment I'm just looking to see who's available in the area on that date and is willing to drive around for a few hours from the chapel to reception and during photos. I've got a silver S1, but I'm not against the idea of having different colours as long as they look good and aren't all banged up . Series 1 or 2 doesn't worry me, but I don't want any M35's, I prefer the C34 shape.

Hey guys, Well the missus and I have set a date finally for our wedding in September, and out of the blue she suggests we use Stagea's as wedding cars. We're going to have an old school '59 chev as our main car, but we'd like to have the rest of the bridal party coming in the style of the Stagea. So what I'm asking, are there any stagea guys in the Newcastle area (or want to come up from Sydney) who can help a brother out? I have my Stagea at the moment, but there's been talk of selling it, so I might not have it come the wedding. I'll need 3 Stagea's in total, only 2 if I still have mine, otherwise 3. I'm willing to pay for fuel for the day, money to get the car detailed and a little on the side for the help (may come in large boxes containing 24 glass vessels) If anyone is interested give me a yell, either PM or in this thread, I don't mind. It's not until the 13th of September, so there's heaps of time, I just wanted to gather some interest and see if I can get the numbers. Cheers, Leshy

I followed a silver R34 from Orange to Bathurst this arvo. I was in the banged up VL behind you most of the way.

Spotted a Midnight Purple R33 GTR cruising up then back down Gilmore St in Kelso yesterday arvo. I was at St Pats playing cricket in the nets.

I had a VL one installed for about $180 2 years ago. Apparently it's the same unit but only generates 70amps, not 80 like the stagea one. the only noticable difference is the headlights dim slightly on idle.

Passed a yellow series 2 stagea and a yellow R34 GTR on pac hwy in northern suburbs yesterday around 5ish.

Spotted a yellow series 2 on the pac hwy near the lane cove tunnel entrance.
