how did you 'mod' your boost solenoid?

Join the club mate, I had the exact same thing happen to me, except I had a trailer full of furniture on the back. It's because of the camber on the rear wheels, it wears the tyres unevenly. If you've lowered it get adjustable camber arms, otherwise a camber kit can fix it.

What did your figures look like?

Well I know it's not directly related to the Manual conversion,but I got my new turbo in last night. First time it seems really hard, but if I had to do it again it would be so much easier now I figured out the hard bits. I'm going to clean up the gearbox next, then next week some time book her in for a gearbox swap!

I asked for a quote from Vigil, and they said I was too great a risk for them to insure me. I'm 24, no accident history, but a couple of speed fines almost 3 years ago still on my record. I've asked them to please explain why I'm such a great risk but it sounds like you have a pretty sweet deal.

never fear, I got my old turbo out of the stagea tonight, the new one will go in tomorrow, so I should be getting the stagea back on the road this weekend! lousy turbo, i had to remove the whole dump pipe to get it out because of one stupid nut....

I got my clutch in the other night, but forgot to stick a picture up. I managed to install the master cyliner, then realise I'd forgotten to put the clutch line in, which wasn't possible to install with the master cylinder in. So out it came, I put the line in an then back it went. All one now, however the engine is in pieces and I'm short a turbo, so no gearbox yet

Awesome. I had something like that happen at my place about a year ago. They didn't catch the guy, but the next day tehy found him in gungahlin and he shot himself.... idiot.

While I'm replacing my Turbo and putting my Clutch & Brake pedal in I decided to do a bit of maintenance work on the old RB25. While pulling the intake piping apart, I've managed to split quite a few hoses both for oil and intake. Who knows a good place to go to get replacement pipes & so on? I know autobarn have some silicon hoses for the intake, but I was thinking more for the oil lines. Otherwise I'll just go to Nissan and get the factory ones.

I just checked the car over. They stole the interior light bulb, busted the drivers side lock, yet they forgot to take the plug for all the stereo wires, so not only did they steal a crappy head unit, but it won't work without that plug. they must have been the SMRT ones

Some genius broke into my precious VL commodore last night and stole my super expensive and high quality Sony Xplod head unit. It's awesomeness predates removable faceplates and high powered outputs (it was only 4 x 45W). I fully expect the genius who stole it to get about $20 for it on the street so he can continue his ice habbit, however I now have a hole in my high-powered, high security vehicle. Does anyone have a shitter old head unit they don't want anymore (or would sell for <$30) just so I can listen to the radio. This car was only temporary while I do some work on mine (which is almost finished, hoorah!) and I only used the CD player for the radio because I don't think the CD player actually worked. Anywho, If you see some dodgy bastard trying to sell a very old and used sony xplod head unit around Melba, punch him in the kidney for me.

just for the record, the new GTR is not a Skyline, they have split the models, like the celica/supra.

I'm thinking about making an appearance, however the Stagea is in a few pieces, so I'll bring out the Corolla (Don't laugh)
