  1. I have a Fujitsubo 3" catback with a 3" dump and high flow cat, and it's quiet as a mouse. It is on a stagea, but still an RB. The only difference is I have about 300mm extra length at the back. The muffler is quite big and never gets any attention for being loud. I'm pretty sure they do exhausts for skylines, have a hunt around Also the legal dB limit is 90dB
  2. Doh, I want to come but I have to drive my awesome VL to Bathurst, and my missus is driving my car at the moment.
  3. No, I meant people who like the car, rather than the Police....
  4. They won't insure me, I've had more than 3 traffic offences in the last 5 years. Damn my fast-paced skyline days.
  5. Had an interesting experince tonight. I Pulled up at Bunnings in Belco, and a Magna wagon pulled up next to me. The guy and his wife get out and ask me a few questions about my Stagea, saying they're in the market for one and so on. Turns out he's John from Trojan's cousin, and he's going to check my car out when I finally get around to getting my manual conversion there so he knows if he will fit in it and if he likes it. It's cool how much of the right sort of attention my car gets.
  6. Commonwealth Ave into Adelaide Ave.
  7. Try posting in the For Sale section?
  8. I left at 1pm along with a few others. It was hard work standing out in the sun all day, especially since I'd been there since 8am.
  9. 1. After 8 months and about $1000 to get a new windscreen, only to get a MASSIVE stone chip directly in my line of site recently. Not happy jan.
  10. I spotted a dark green series 1 at the National Library on Sunday. It looked stock as a rock and it's not one I've seen around Canberra before.
  11. You get one when you join SAU NSW.
  12. Good day. My neck is burnt, damn.
  13. Sounds awfully familiar to one Chuck Norris to me....
  14. I know this one, it's wheels isn't it? Since I'm showing up earlier, is there something I should be bringing to 'stake' out our area? I've never been to this Shannons Wheels before, do we need to bring witches hats or posts or something to actually fence off our area, or do we just show up and the marshalls there will tell us where to go?
  15. I'm 24, paying $1700 a year through Just Cars. I haven't had any problems with them and I've covered my car for $18,000.
  16. I think once you're colour blind that's it
  17. Hey Jay, how goes it?
  18. I think it's safe to assume Leech will not be attended due to his previous comment of being in NZ.
  19. I think it's from late 95 or early 96. you can tell by looking at the skyline, the Series 2 have a larger wing and sharper lights.
  20. giddyup!
  21. Perhaps get a couple of long pieces of timber/dowel/steel pipe tied into each end and jam them into the ground near the front of our area? Also, relating to the 'Marshalling', is there events cars are entered into for prizes or something, or is this just the term given to directing and parking your car?
  22. Make sure it's not a series 1 R33 coilpack set, as they're different to the Stagea ones.
  23. I'm happy to come earlier and help setup. what do we need to 'stake' out our area? I have a large boot that we can chuck stuff into if it involves any large objects.
  24. It was something to do with having to buy chrome strips as the ones already on the bumpers can't be removed and replaced? I'm going take the bumpers apart myself soon and just get them repainted without getting charged for R&R
  25. Name's Leshy, get it right... crikey. That would have been my missus going to work at the hospital, as she's been driving my Stagea around for the past 2 months while Toyota do a really efficient and cost-effective repair job on her Corolla. I'm now cruising around in a crappy red VL commodore, so don't bother trying to spot me
