  1. I'm getting my parents banged up VL commodore to drive while my car gets its manual conversion. What are some fun cheap mods to do to a VL auto I can play with while I have it. This car is stock as a rock, nothing has ever been upgraded on it. Shoot me some ideas, even stupid ones.
  2. I know sharing is caring, but sometimes you can go too far. I won't be out, but I'll try and make it to the sunday meet at streetscene
  3. The one I'm driving is a 5 spd manual. I have the Stagea for 4 door convenience, the Chaser is just a loaner The Auto Chasers can take the PowerFC because the Toyota shift logic is so much simpler than Nissans.
  4. I'll take it. I want to get rid of my Pod filter.
  5. I'll try to make it. It's my birthday on Sunday but it might be fun!
  6. Yeah I was thinking of coming to that. I might not have the Chaser on the weekend, my brother has asked for it back, in return for my parents VL... yippee, a VL. Anywho, I'll try and make it there in the Chaser, if not then I'll be there in the Stagea.
  7. Ah, not techincally My chaser, but I'm driving it and I've had it for about a month. It's my brothers car while my g/f's car is in the shop and she drives my Stagea. They're nice cars, and they need the traction control they come with I'll tell you that. 1JZ-GTE's are a tough engine.
  8. You can get the pedal off without taking the dash out. Ask Beastian, he's done it.
  9. Ah, well they're easy. I had a skyline before this, so most of my knowledge carried over.
  10. That's one of those new 20-core radiators isn't it?
  11. If you need a look at the plugs you're more than welcome to have a look at my car. I've had my Stagea in ACT for about 2 and a half years now in our fair capital, so give me a yell if you want any help with anything, I've done most of it.
  12. I was talking to Beastian last night, he said he plugged his R34 PowerFC into his car, and it worked first go with nothing changed. It didn't drive as his car is still auto, but the engine worked. I don't think the injectors are on different pins if this happened
  13. no, I wanted it to make it handle better, so I got some coil overs and sway bars installed. Then I had a problem with camber, so I had adjustable camber arms installed. It's just to make it handle better, not any problems.
  14. Chris has replaced almost every suspension component in my car. I think I'm responsible for putting new tyres on his Z every 3 months... hehehe. My wallet hurts everytime I go there, but I always get the best value and service you can buy. My stagea hangs on rails like it's a go-kart, which isn't easy for a 1700kg+ car.
  15. We're aming for September this year, but it's not looking good. Most places are booked the weekend we want to do it.
  16. I think I only paid $190. and for some reason no one else showed up, so it was just me with my Stagea and my mate with his MR2. Turns out Stagea's out-brake MR2's
  17. Spotted a wine red R33 GTS today coming out of CIT. Also spotted a silver Stagea on ginninderra drv thismorning, and it wasn't mine! I get even less attention from skyline drivers in my Chaser than I did in my Stagea. Oh woah is me....
  18. Not sure I understand that sentence, but the R34's are tip tronic, as are the Series 2 stageas. It won't work in a series 1, as they have the NEO engine with IVVT or whatever nissan call it.
  19. Stageas run an R34 plug, perhaps try an R34 auto computer if you have a series 2 stag, otherwise you're out of luck.
  20. Excellent. Always start from the easiest thing to fix first. Don't just jump headfirst into fuses and mechanical failure
  21. Yeah I get this too, but mainly only when in reverse. you should only use this button when offroad or on slippery surfaces
  22. Spotted a Silver S2 today on my way to work on Ginnderra Drv in Belco. I was in my brothers white Toyota Chaser
  23. Ah no, you don't control the sunroof from the door. You're thinking of the child locks for opening the rear doors. There's a switch on the sunroof control panel that locks the rear sunroof switch so people in the back seat can't open the sunroof. similar to the window lock on the drivers armrest.
