  1. I've had mine for almost 3 years in Canberra and I still get guys asking me what it is at the servo. Usually older guys (30+) but still, it does get a lot of the right sort of attention I think.
  2. You can only buy them certain times of the year: NY, Queens birthday and I think Canberra day weekend.
  3. Thunderloop Thriller!!!
  4. Ahh, if you're in Japan wouldn't it be really easy to get spare parts for a stagea there rather than from Australia?
  5. Bump! keep it on the top so everyone comes!
  6. I want a house that goes "Vrrrrrrrrrrr pppsscchhhhhh!!!" when i open the garage door as i come home from work
  7. I've got a Corolla Sportivo Turbo (7A-FTE), they're pumping out 115kW at the fronts. Heaps of fun in a straight line, but the understeer can kill the experience a bit. Also has a big problem with torque steering, but as said before, that just keeps it interesting. They're factory FMIC too, and i have no doubt it'll respond well to a few basic tricks. I'ts quicker off the lights than my Stagea, but then runs out of puff in the high rev range and the torquier RB25DET picks up.
  8. Been there, broke my right hand and ended up in a cast for 6 weeks, I feel your bum-wiping, left-handed-mousing, single-hand-typing pain
  9. Spotted a silver series 2 R33 driving down belconnen way last night around 5pm, TALKING ON HIS PHONE. I wish people would stop talking on their phones while driving, especially Skylines, it gives us a bad name.
  10. They're great. I'm hanging out for the VQ35DE model to gain compliance though, as that model comes in a manual. I'll be waiting a while anyway, so no rush yet. My good ol' series 1 will do me another few years.
  11. Does it have import approval? I've never seen or heard of one before.
  12. Didn't this all happen a while ago?
  13. probably should blank out peoples licence plates if you're going to post photo's Went to the coast yesterday, passed a few skylines on the way down, one of them gave me a wave. a maroon R33 was with me a fair amount of the trip back today, had a big amount of panel damage on the passenger side.
  14. well i started with an R33, but sold it after a year to get the stagea. I've had my stagea for almost 2.5 years now, and it's changed a lot since i got it. I won't be getting rid of it in a hurry i can tell you that.
  15. Easier to put Series 2 lights on an S1 than changing the whole front end
  16. Stagea's fit BBQ's really easily. perhaps i can be of assistance in that department?
  17. High-flo or new turbo, manual gearbox, PowerFC, fuel pump, injectors... the list goes on...
  18. Hahaha... ahh, that brings a tear to my eye. You should be happy though, the Series 2 lights look so much better and make the car look a little more modern. make sure you compliment them with clear side and front indicators, makes the car look complete.
  19. Oooo, 2 stageas
  20. Saw your car in the shop today. I went in to see Marc about a wheel alignment for my Chaser, also to look at his wreck. nasty stuff that is.
  21. Yeah i get that too. must be some sort of safety system that tensions the belt when the car is driving, then releases to let it undo easier. that's all i could think it would be
  22. ah sorry... i stand corrected.
  23. Hmm, i forgot about what date this was. It gives me some incentive to get the front bar redone. Hopefully i can get my manual in before this date too. then it'll definately be a force to be reckoned with, muhuahhah
  24. Not possible, someone has been telling you porky pies. GTR's don't come in auto, and can't be converted to auto.
  25. Air is more dense in cooler temperatures, therefore turbo doesn't have to work as hard to get boost up.
