Well, i've been in Gilgandra since monday, and i saw a total of 1 skylines the whole time. now it was only an R31, a GT Passage R31 at that. it was the last place in the world i'd expect to see one of those. it was pretty banged up though, needed a good paint job and some wheels, but it still blew me away being in a 1 horse town.

Not I, i'm heading to the north coast early sat morning.

spotted a white R33 with a sticker 'Powered by HKS' or some such on the rear window. was on haydon drv

I finally got insurance last month. been driving the stag for 2 years with nothing on it. I figure, i don't want to have an accident, so i won't. plenty of near misses, never my fault though. under 25, so went with Just Cars, $1700 with every little mods, including the stereo, wheels and leather trim covered. i think it was about $2100 excess though. also got my g/f's Corolla Sportivo Turbo covered, $1200 plus mods and a $1500 excess. Funny thing was, Just Cars were cheaper than NRMA for the corolla. it's an aus delivered car so i figured NRMA would be the cheapest, but they is the suck. i couldn't figure that one out. I'm 25 in just over a year, so i'll jump onto the shannons bandwagon then.

spotted a genious in a maroon R32 doing a u-turn down bunda street where all the construction work is going on and there's only 1 lane of traffic usually... surely there are better places to turn around buddy

it's 8 speed CVT, not auto as such. and they do come in a manual, just rare like the S2 manuals. i doubt you could mate the transmission to a C34 stagea as the M35 is a V6 block.

yeah, i'm scared too that i've had this car for over 2 years now... one of the first and finest stageas around i'll be needing some roof racks soon. got a family on the way and i'll be needing the storage space on holidays

The AR-X is the sporty off-road model, similar to the Subara Outback, and the 25T or whatever is the standard model. the AR-X has higher suspension and the flared guard things. not a fan of that model, but the 3.5L V6 6spd model is looking mighty fine in a few years time.

i had Max fit mine for $650, works a treat. actually mine was the first he made after the prototype, which is on Tee's car.

Yeah that's what auto's do... i don't want attention like a ricer though, i like not having a loud exhaust. maybe when i get manual/PFC i'll change it

yeah you can squeeze the mat under the console, just needs a bit of elbow grease

just so people know, if you've done a manual conversion, or like me, just have the centre console installed, the middle mat for the rear seats won't fit 100%. i think i'll have to take the console off and then put the mat under, then the console will sit over the mat. it's just that the manual consoles are slightly longer than the autos.

got mine today also, they're awesome!! well done mate!

on the R33 gtr box the tranfer case is one and the same with the gearbox, i can't see a way to separate them, is the R32 box the same?
