It's probably a long shot, but i'm after the collar that goes around the gearbox on the transmission tunnel. any chance you'd be willing to cut it out with an angle grinder and send it my way?

Stop making up fuels, it's Caltex.... pfft. I think i'll give it a go, probably be the only auto POS on the track, and the heaviest... but it'd look cool seeing a 'volvo' dominating over some stock R33's. i doubt i could do much against anything modified more than i am.

It won't be manual, but it will have a bigger turbo and be running a lot smoother than current (lots of housekeeping needed)

Hey i used to have an R33, but i thought they were too heavy to drift that well. i was obviously proved wrong yesterday. some of those R33's were doing really well.

i was there until the end, but god damn that wind/dust was giving me the shits. nothing like ruining a perfect day with crappy weather. i saw a few people, but mostly just watched the racing. saw heaps of skylines in the carpark and around, but couldn't remember who owned which...

i won't be leaving with the cruise tomorrow morning, i'll be coming up with my mate a little later around 9ish. i'll come down and say g'day in the morning still, just to please the masses

non-turbo stageas are not eligible for importation under RAWS, power to weight is too low. have to go turbo, or get an outback as above

my R33 cost me $220 to get tinted, i pulled the tint off myelf beforehand. i got it done at solartint in belco. i've also had my stagea done there, which was about $180, but i only got the front 2 windows and the rear hatch done.

I've had my car on a skidpan. using the 50/50 and 80/20 split does change how it works, but i found it very hard to slide the rear and keep it sliding. the front would pull in almost straight away, even faster when in 50/50 split. they have a bit of understeer, much mroe than my skyline did, but no where near as much as a FWD car. i did a defensive driving course, and i think everyone should do it. it taught me a whole lot more about how my car reacted in certain situations.

it's not within sight of any roads in the area, so you won't get hoons just rocking up unless they know about it prior.

i know not relevant to ACT, but i spotted a few R33 skylines while in bathurst on the weekend. a nice bright yellow one, a gunmetal one and on the way back to 'berra a black one with a nice wide wing. spotted my old R33 at home, still unregistered. works now that i pumped the tyres up and got the battery charged, but she needs some tlc. has a nice big crack in the windscreen, the paint has bubbled on the rear bumper, covered in dust from top to bottom, discs are all rusted up and the suspension looks like it's sagging. bugger. other than that she'll be fine when i get it in a few weeks.

spotted a silver S1 in bathurst while i was home on the weekend, had a for sale sign on the tailgate.

that's about it i think, they do come through but i've had some delays with on replies before. eventually it came good though.
