  1. Spotted Silver S1 in Bathurst on friday night, was driving past me on the main street.
  2. I just checked mine, i have an outside light left over after parting mine out, but it's passenger side, sorry.
  3. I have a GCG High-Flow, it's awesome. I installed it myself, very easy.
  4. Just a query, how do you go driving a right hand drive vehicle in europe? I wouldn't think you could do that very easily.
  5. Yeah i thought it might have been, I haven't seen an Autech getting the front end treatment yet, it would suit it as it actually has a GTR engine. I was going to comment on the seats, you should upgrade to some GTR seats or similar, they'd suit it really well.
  6. Is it an Autech or just an RS FOUR? it looks awesome.
  7. Just a note, the GTR transfer case and Stagea transfer case have 1 very important difference. The GTR case has a gearstick coming out of the top of it.

  9. I have the same problem, have you checked your spark plugs lately? are they gapped correctly? are your coils cracked and earthing? check those things first, they're relatively easy to fix.
  10. What vents are you talking about? I thought the intercooler and auto cooler were already in front of vents?
  11. Well I found out today I need more than just the transfer case. I need the gearbox casing as well, but not the bell housing.
  12. I read somewhere a turbo replacement requires engine out. I saw one method of removing the entire sub-frame and lifting the chassis up, leaving just the engine and front drivetrain behind.
  13. Yeah I've got heaps of pictures in my gallery, but i'm not as good as Ian with the internet linky things... interweb confuse me.
  14. Thought I'd give you all an update on my driveshaft kerplosion. I have an R32 GTR drive shaft on it's way. I'm picking up an R32 GTR box that's blown tomorrow from Sydney, of which i'll be pulling the transfer case off which will bolt up to my current R33 gearbox. The mechanic said my water pump is stuffed, and my timing belt needs replacing, so I'm getting that done at the same time. And I've just received my big end bearing seal which I thought I'd replace since after 200,000km i'm sure most things need replacing, and I can only get to that seal with the gearbox off. Fingers crossed, I'll have the car back on the road Wednesday next week, so only about a 2 week turnaround, all thanks to my helpful SAU community selling me spare parts.

  18. if it's in a specific rev range and only in certain gears my money is on transmission, maybe the bands for 1st and 2nd are worn out? get it checked by a transmission mechanic as they'll know the signs better.

  21. I need a transfer case from an R33/32 GTR gearbox, and also the front drive shaft. My uni-joint failed at high speed, punched a hole in the side of my transfer case. Doesn't matter push or pull type, i'm only after the transfer case at the back of the gearbox. drive shaft needs all connections from transfer case to diff. 0488218643, Located Bathurst, can pick up from Sydney/Central Coast area and anywhere in between

  23. I'd usually associate RPM base vibrations with Clutch, but i guess his car is an auto still? And if it's Uni Joint, DON'T WAIT TO FIX IT!!! I'm learning that the hard, 'hole in side of gearbox', way.
  24. Yeah always start at the cheapest, easiest thing to fix first. low RPM vibrations could be a worn tyre, unbalanced tyre, wheel alignment,, low tranny fluid, low attesa fluid. start there first, then go looking for expensive problems like CV joints, steering racks etc.
