  1. so far, it's cost me $900 for manual console $1000 for R33 GTR gearbox $500 for assorted parts (clutch pedal, master cylinder, handbrake etc.) i'm getting a flywheel and clutch ($??) next week, once the flywheel is machined down i can get the whole lot installed then PowerFC was $940 plus install and tune might bring it up to $1500. so a bit, but i've done it fairly cheap so far. anywho, hopefully all going to plan i can get it installed in 2 weeks.
  2. It's the same as brake/clutch fluid
  3. When it starts to warm up a bit i say we organise a big meet, get the team together again. i haven't been out for a long time, and probably by the time we do get together i'll have my manual conversion sorted and a hi-flo turbo + PFC installed, i'll need a good cruise with some fast lines to see if it was worth it.
  4. i have rear camber arms as well i just remembered. they are fitted with whiteline camber kits. i'm pretty sure the rear of the stagea is the same as R33 GTSt. if someone wants to buy them they can, otherwise up for loan if someone needs an urgent camber arm replacement.
  5. i'm lucky, i work at the construction site next to the griffin centre, and as such have a key to the site. i park inside the locked, barbed wire fence at night, so none of the little druggo's can get in
  6. mate they probably are, the chasis and engine are the same. try GTR as well if you're looking it up.
  7. i've got a full 3" and have barely any noise at all, i think it depends on your tune. maybe you're running a bit rich?
  8. what a pain in the arse. could you just go to another shop front and see if they'll pass you?
  9. mine was an old Quakeworld tag from about 10 years back, something about being the 'end' of people in the game - hence Terminal. i just keep it now because it's easier than making a new one up.
  10. i have a tow bar, towed a trailer full of furniture and had my rear tyre blow out at 100+kph, but still held her steady. i think they tow trailers pretty well in my experiences.
  11. i have a falcon one and it works fine, no problems.
  12. DAYZ editions only had the standard wing i thought.
  13. well it won't look right until i get the manual in. at the moment it's a manual console around an auto shifter
  14. no, you need to remove a bracket that holds a mount for the auto console that isn't part of the manual console. it's got 3 spot welds, you just drill them out.
  15. it's an RB26, but they are different engines.
  16. only the series 2 came with a manual option, oh and the 260RS. it's the series 2 manual console
  17. spotted a silver R34 GTR in belco yesterday.
  18. then post them in the for sale section, we're trying to get people to buy THESE ONES in a group buy.
  19. Well i just got back from completing my defensive driver course with Dereck today. He's an awesome bloke and knows his shit. we got onto the skid pan to test our cars ability, and since there was only me and my mate on the course, he gave us a quick skid pan lesson as well. well worth the money i think. we did brake tests and swerve reaction tests, as well as some basic driving techniques to just make our driving that little bit safer. i would like to join in on the 20th but i can't afford it right now. might be up for the september session though.
  20. BUMP!!! get some floor mats!
  21. i have an R33 GTSt clutch pedal and assembly i can spare to lose. i bought the original RS Four-S ones, so i don't need to modify anything anymore. the GTSt one fits with some minor modifycation i've heard, but have yet to compare.
  22. Here are some pictures of the manual and auto consoles compared: from this picture you can see the manual console (on the left) is slightly longer than the auto one. it also has a spot for 2 more cup holders (which i haven't installed because the atessa computer is still in the way) the manual is also slightly lower than the auto. this means the pocket in the console is quite a bit shallower: the gearstick surround is also a different length, not including a recess for all sorts of knicks and knacks: so there you have it, the manual vs auto console comparison. sorry about the picture quality, but it's easier with my phone than getting the camera out. supposed to be 2Mpixel, but it doesn't look it.
  23. nope, not a 260, wrong bumper and wing
  24. crikey. i wouldn't want to have my suspension set up that stiff... get a hell of a sore butt
  25. I currently have a pair of tyres and a stock intercooler on loan to Slither (sean). when i get them back they'll be available again for anyone who needs them. the other 2 tyres i have aren't legal.
