  1. yeah, it's always more expensive when you're the first person to get one. my winsdcreen cost me $800, now they're aorund $300. pretty sure i was the first person to get the TEIN suspension kits for stageas, and also the Trust intercooler kit. they're all so cheap now!
  2. pretty sure Chris at Inline deals with steering. his business name is Inline Steering & Suspension. he's on Yass Road, Qbn
  3. hehe, literally screwed, if it's a good birthday. i told her it's nice out in the country, it'll be a fun day.
  4. Could you please explain? i've just gotten myself a hi-flo, and i thought they used the exact same turbo housing as the standard turbo. why would this mean any standard dump pipe wouldn't work? i've got a custom mild steel dump, nothing flash but i just don't want to have to fork out for mods to my exhaust if this turbo is different
  5. the scoop is only if you've still got or using the stock aribox with snorkel? i don't have any of that so i don't think it'll be necessary
  6. i'm trying my best to get the woman to agree to let me go. we rarely get weekends together when we're not working, so getting out of it for my car is a big thing
  7. i'm not too fussed. i'd rather get it how i want it, then that can be my before time.
  8. Terminal. Series 1. Without Scoop. Black.
  9. If it was silver, then it was probably me, i head through curtin a few times a week at night
  10. i'm not tracking my car until i've upgraded most of the bits that will break, eg transmission, brakes, suspension. it's not really a race car in standard form.
  11. my CB got flogged from my R33 when it got broken into a few years ago, i haven't bothered to get another one yet. are they going to be necessary?
  12. yeah around $300 i think for a brand newy
  13. Brazil only beat them 1 - 0, which means we're still on the top of the ladder!
  14. Nup, not yet. i haven't really had a chance to get up there again. i think my transmission needs a service anyway so i'll hit 2 birds with one stone
  15. well i saw them and they were pretty rooted, so maybe my car had a hard life in japan or something. they didn't make any noise when i bought the car, just after i had first used it to tow a trailer.
  16. Since we're on the topic of gearbox/transmissions, does this Advanced transmissions place do conversions? i've got all my bits to do the conversion, just don't have the time/tools to do it myself
  17. Series 2 already have clear side indicators. i picked up a set of series 2 rears from yahoo auctions, ended up costing about $550 for the set including shipping
  18. I had the whiteline camber bushes in and they didn't do the same thing. that's why i had to go comeplete adjustable arms. the camber bushes didn't have enough adjustability for what i needed
  19. that's ok, most R33 GTR's are manuals
  20. i don't want anything done to it at the moment unless its absolutely neccessary. all i want is someone to look it over, make sure it won't die as soon as i put it in and that's all. it's only done 80,000km, so i don't expect too much damage, but again it depends on how it was driven. Also, i couldn't find anywhere called advanced transmissions in mitchell, have they moved recently? yellowpages saisd they're on hoksins st, but i went up and down it at least 3 times and couldn't find them.
  21. ALmost too perfect, i'm picking it up from Universal Express at lunch, i can just pop around the corner and drop it off to them to get it looked at.
  22. I won't be driving fast anyway, my car is too slow and heavy. i want a nice leisurely cruise, then a nice, delicious BBQ at the end, then another nice leisurely drive through this sublime country. there's no reason to go fast, it's not like we have to be there at a certain time. we can enjoy each others cars when they're stationary, not flashing by at a billion clicks.
  23. got my gearbox today! yeah! one step closer
  24. Can anyone lend some assistance for a good gearbox reconditioner? i've just received my R33 GTR gearbox from japland and would like to have it looked over before i go ahead and stick it in my stagea. any help appreciated guys
