  1. you mean autechs didn't have sunrooves? i'm glad i'm fixing up my RS4 then, i don't think i could live without my sunrooves now.
  2. the only reason you'd go for a water-air intercooler is when there's no room for an air-air. they're more efficient as the energy only has to transfer one medium, not two (water to air still has a radiator making it from air - water - air)
  3. you don't need to remove the light. with the clip, just push it in, the turn it around slightly and it come loose. then you can remove the bulb easy. it's a bit tricky, but it idoes coem out. it's a bit of a spring to hold the blub in.
  4. I asked him to check the wheel bearings, i don't know if it's rooted or not. it's mainly the camber i'm getting fixed. i had my rear left tyre blow out at 100kph with a fully loaded trailer on last weekend, it was a bit scary. basically i needed a suspension overhaul, i've been having trouble with it for over a year. sucks a bit, but once done it will handle like a dream.... again
  5. Spotted a wine R32 with gold 5 spoke rims in the carpark next to my office, looked good for a 32
  6. just be careful of the little metal clip bit. i almost destroyed mine because i didn't know it was there holding the bulb in the socket.
  7. The study of the surfaces waters of the earth re:google.
  8. RB20's..... Grunt? hehehe only milk and juice comes in 2L I keep spotted R33's all over the shop in civic and belco, but i never remember colours/times or anything. put SAU stickers on your cars so i can tell who it is
  9. just a quick one, what's hydrography? is that the study of water?
  10. there are series 1 and 2 autechs, see other thread
  11. As i said, not suspension mechanic. he's going to sort it out, he knows what he's doing. he's been under my car a fair few times
  12. I hate bloody weddings, always blows my mind why the bride wears white to a bloody wedding. that'd be a moster drycleaning bill hehe, enough of that. i'm still waiting to see if i can get that weekend off from the missus. looks like it'll be a big one
  13. I'm moving house tomorrow, so unless it arrives today i'll have to hope the mail redirect works
  14. Sorry, these aren't the ones i'm using, they were just an example. he told me he's using good quality ones, not crappy ones that clunk etc. i can get the exact details off him, but i'm not a suspension mechanic so i won't pretend to know much about what he's doing. he just said it will fix the camber and make it very highly adjustable in the rear end for future reference (in case i make the worlds first drift stagea or something)
  15. They don't have an O-shape, they're curved however to go around the shock. The rear of the stagea is setup the same as an R33 GTR correct? well i saw them installed on an R33 GTR so i guessed they'd work. anywho, my mech will be fitting them, if there was going to be a problem he wouldn't be suggesting them to me (he's been under my car enough times to know the setup, he put my coilovers and whiteline bars in)
  16. good work digging up a 10 month old thread whoever you are, hehe
  17. Next week i'm getting GTR camber arms fitted to fix my rear camber. meaning i can have a low car and not have any camber. will show before and after results for interested parties
  18. I'm moving house this weekend, so no leshy on friday. thankfully i have a wagon and a tow bar, i don't need to hire a truck!
  19. getting the camber fixed next week. i saw what he's going to do on an R33 GTR today, looks the bees knees. means i'll be able to have the car lowered still, and have a trailer with no negative camber.
  20. Thats just it, i had a rear camber kit installed over a year ago when i got my coilovers and sway bars installed. i'm going around there in the next few days to see what else can be done, as it's becoming a joke with the amount of tyres i'm going through i'm just going to run around on my stockies until i can get it fixed up
  21. Well i went to Bathurst on the weekend, had to test out my yet unused towbar. trip up was fine, bit awkward having a clunking trailer following me though. After loading up the trailer with furniture and heading out of town, i get about 50km from bathurst and then an almighty BANG, and the car started to lose control. i swerved all over the road fighting this car with a heavy trailer swerving and kicking around. if there was an oncoming car i would have bought the farm and there'd be a story of a stagea killing heaps of people. i finally got it under control and pulled over, thinking the trailer had hit something or busted a tyre/axel. turns out my tyre on the rear left had blown, and in a big way. it was proper f*cked. i turned around on the spare 'emergency' tyre and limped back to bathurst. luckily i had stored my original stock rims at my parents place in bathurst, so i changed the tyres over and drove back thismorning. I think this is a good reason to get my really bad rear camber fixed up, as the outside of the tyre had almost 100% read left. it feels weird driving around on 16" tyres now, they're so much rmoe comfortable than 18"s
  22. ahhhhh crap, they must have shown up just after i left... stupid lateness
  23. I've already got the rear mat, the hard plastic one. i'm definately in for the mats when they're made up
  24. mine does that too, but it's not a stagea feature, it's just my alarm. if i unlock the car with the remote, then not open a door, it locks them again in 30 seconds
  25. 3 What goes wrong? Try looking through the skyline sections, they have identical engines, so anything that goes wrong with a skyline will likely go wrong with the stagea. Saying that, i just ticked over 160,000km on mine last night, and the only problem i've had has been my alternator dying. everything else is still stock standard in the engine and it runs fine. This applies to 4. Are they reliable? as well. i don't think many stageas will have this many km on them. proof nissan build good engines
