whenever i take my car to someone other than my usual mechanic they always seem to think i have a 1.8L engine in it... i always say "it's like a skyline wagon" they say "oh, so is that the 1.8L?" i didn't think skylines ever came with a 1.8L, except the R32 that had the CA18 in it, and i'm pretty sure no one imports those

I got the R33 type master, as i'll be using an R33 clutch pedal with a little modification to fit. i spoke with my mechanic, he said there's no trouble matching the R33 GTR slave to the R33 GTST master, and he think he can mod the clutch pedal to fit. all i'm waiting on now is my gearbox arriving then it's all stations go. i'll let everyone know how it goes, any problems i get and so on.

Have you still got it? i'll take it off your hands. i'm trying to sell my brothers R33, but i want to keep his head unit, so i'll be happy to put an original R33 one in.

Well i got my Master and Slave cylinder fresh from Nissan today, getting one step closer now. my gearbox is due to arrive in melbourne end of next week.

i think the Z trim relates to the door and roof trim, the leather is a different feature

I have interior trim code Z and i have leather, so it mustn't be.

Be careful how much you lower the car. i've had mine lowered, but not too much that the car isn't still practical. i drive my beast up gutters, over rough, uneven ground and even clear speed bumps at pace, but the car still has a nice ride height. don't turn what would be a nice practical car into a rice burner that can't park anywhere and ahs to take speed bumps sideways. i can park mine in carparks with gutters, and i have about 5mm clearance. this way i don't have to worry about hitting the front bar (or intercooler for that matter)

Yeah i'd go with coil. the coils on RB20's aren't the most reliable. they're the same ones that go into CA18's (EXA) and my mate had one that died all the time from shitty coild

I'm never going to get one. It's been a pain in the butt converting my S1 to manual, no way i'd try and do it on the V6. also they got rid of the frameless windwos, whats the go with that? that was the main reason i got one over an R34 4door. too bad nissan, you could have done much better...

Ahh, no we got busted! Me Stirlo and Rumble met up at the museum, then Jun2.7L showed up in his massive VW 4WD and had a yarn. sounds like could be a good night to come out next friday

saw niks car at eds getting its radiator fitted, or whatever the runnign joke is there. also next to it on the other hoist another white R32 GTR. also saw a white 4dr R33 going through civic.

if it's on a good weekend i might make the trip up. i'll have to check with my secretary (read: missus) if i have that weekend (22/23) off or not

My alternator died today, much to my embarassment in the Bunnings carpark. got NRMA to give me some juice to get to my sparkie, and he had the nerve to put a VL commodore alternator in. said it's only 70A, instead of 80A, but does the job fine. kept telling me it's better because it's AUSSIE MADE. i don't know how much truth there is to that. anyway, it's got 2 year warranty on it, so if it dies in the butt i'll be getting my Nissan replacement thank you very much. also it would take 3 days to get a skyline one, and they're much more expensive.
