  1. Yeah mine were dirt coloured, but black when i took them off and gave them a clean
  2. Go to Repco or similar and get one for an EF/EL falcon, it's the same piece and a fair bit cheaper. that's what i did when i got a new one in my car. Do a search and you'll find a lot of help on this matter
  3. Sounds good. try posting it on www.canberracruises.com it's a local cruising forum set up for just these sort of events
  4. "Implosion?" No worries guys, i'll see what i can do
  5. If i had a more than an hour sleep and wasn't so bloody hung over i would have enjoyed the day more. The only sort of people i had checking out my wagon were old guys with their families, i think i've got the wrong sort of car?
  6. Hey that looks identical to my grill and eyelids. the grill is slightly different i could never figure out what they were, maybe i should try and find some magazines to get a better idea
  7. I was about to say, that's not a stagea
  8. M35 stagea, model after the Series 2 C34. has the VQ25DET in it i'm pretty sure. been released since 2001 i think
  9. Sunday, hehe i'll probably come out...... dunno what i'm doing really
  10. Well that makes it easy for us then, no one will be there when we arrive to park. Should be a good day, i'm excited. Remember, MACCAS BELCONNEN (opposite the college) 7:30AM depart 8:00AM for JOHN KNIGHT PARK so we can have the SAU crew together
  11. I've been doing work exp at Bovis Lend Lease, a big construction company. i go full time on monday. we're responsible for ripping down the old griffin centre and a fair portion of the works going on in civic. anyone need any construction work done give me a yell, hehehe
  12. I think you're right. the ford guys seam to have it setup as a fair dinkum show 'n' shine, where as the Morris club guys just wanted to get other car clubs out to show off. they're the guys that invited all the other car clubs like REACT and SAU to it.
  13. Yeah, ditto if you're in the ACT, i know of a guy who is magic with paintless dent removal. give us a yell if you're nearby
  14. Awesome, you'll have to drop us a line when you get here so we can see your beast I just changed my rego to ACT actually, got the plates YRS-04V on order
  15. I've got them, but they're both cracked, and i almost lost the drivers side on the Hume. a quick squirt of silicon gel fixed them up, looks a bit funky but they're not broken and banging anymore. for $340 i'll pass, mine do alright for now
  16. Haha, nice. do you get royalties for that?
  17. That's how i understand it. I don't know how many of your are famliar with John Knight Park, i went for a walk there last weekend. It's got a big grassy area, which is where the ford people are going to be, since they need drip trays. The Morris club (Marques in the Park) people might either be there as well, or in the carpark at the top of the park. there was parks for about 100 - 150 cars in the carpark at a guess. We'll probably find out more on the morning, it doesn't start until 10am, and we're planning to get there at 8am when setup begins. but yes, there are 2 show 'n' shines in the same park
  18. Ok guys, i found the error. It appears there are 2 (read: two) show 'n' shines on Sunday. Marques in the Parks is being run by the Morris Minor club ACT and is a FREE Event. the FPV & XR owners club are also hosting their Show 'n' Shine which is a paid entry event. this is not the one we want to go to.
  19. Guys, some new information has just come to my attention. This contradicts a lot of the original post in this thread about this show 'n' shine, and i don't know what to make of it. apparently this is stated on the entry form for the show • Submission or delivery of this form to the Ford Show N Shine signifies acceptance and willingness to comply with all show policies and procedures. • Confirmation of your entry will be provided upon receipt of your fee of $10.00/$15.00 per vehicle entered. Your entry fee(s) must be received no later than close of business Friday November 4th 2005. • Make cheques payable to FPV & XR Owners Club of ACT. • Entries will have 1 ½ hours of set-up time, from 8.00am to 9.30am on November 20th, 2005. • Vehicles will be on display from 9.30 am to 4 pm. (vehicles must remain until show finishes) • Vehicles must be removed from the grounds site by 5.30 pm. • Judging begins from 11 am. Awards will be announced at approx 2 pm. • Every entrant’s vehicle will be judged. • Each entrant will need to provide a drip tray for each vehicle. This is mandatory. • We reserve the right to refuse any entrant at our discretion. • There will be no refunds due to bad weather or circumstances beyond our control So if this is the case, i don't think any of us will be able to enter our cars, and i don't particularly want to look around at a bunch of Fords
  20. Spotted a Black R34 last night outside the belco bus interchange. drove past but it was too dark to see much
  21. hehe, good luck getting tickets. i guess it'll be easier to get them to the Aus games. Well good on them, i hope they do something with this opportunity now
  22. Shit, i just realised my work xmas party is on that night, so i might have to ditch early, depending on how long we're out for. i'm still keen to head out though. I'm excited, are you?
  23. Of course, all are welcome. it's a casual show i think, not a hard arse show 'n' shine like some car clubs have
  24. The R32 also came in a CA18i. enjoy that for sucking at everything the VL commo in NZ came with RB20E stock, just for some more uselsss information
  25. What's soccer? i'd be keen for some lawn bowls. awesome fun and cheap beers. bowling is good too, but hard when you're drinking
