  1. There's a few of us in canberra now, it's getting more populous. i think there is one located at batemans bay too, but not sure. i think there were 300 plates issued in 2004, another 300 in 2005
  2. i don't get it, what does GREEN BANANAS mean? you didn't explain anything!!!!
  3. I'll be there or at least nearby for the whole day. my gf wants me to take her for a picnic in the park, so i'll just pop off for an hour for that, then return. everything is fully insured guys just so you know, but i don't know if that covers damage to paintwork or what. it is run by an insruance company (shannons)
  4. I saw the armrest somewhere once but was dissapointed when mine only opened towards the driver.
  5. Yeah i'll swap you my auto Stagea for your Chaser for 5 weeks Wil.
  6. Have exhaust news, probably do just as well continuing this thread than starting another. As you know i have the Fujitsubo 3" cat back. Today i had a 3" dump pipe and 3" cat installed. direct bolt on from an R33 dump, so easy to find the part. What i did find out, i have a 2.5" dump and 2.5" cat coming off the car. neither of these are stock either, so depending on the condition of these pipes i'll probably let them go real cheap if anyone wants a mild exhaust upgrade. i'll find out tonight when i pick the car up and post again if they're worth selling. my exhaust was super quiet, could hear the shocks over the exhaust, so they did their job
  7. I've got the sau sticker on my window, so i think they'll know where i'm from. I think on sunday morning we meet at Maccas at 7:30 for a greasy post-saturday night breakfast, then pop over to the park at 8am when they start to set up.
  8. spotted a white R33 yesterday arvo in civic, gave a wave, got a nod.
  9. I'm still going, and i'll be wearing my SAU shirt. i can see the park from my house, so not much chance i'd miss it
  10. Hey mate, my gf said she saw you driving through civic yesterday arvo, was it you? she said your car looked awesome (not as awesome as mine though, hehe)
  11. I got my front windows and rear hatch tinted after i got it, couldn't get it the same darkness to match, but it still keeps the heat down inside. you'll notice that on hot summer days the leather sort of sticks to you. still, for the rest of the time leather is the way to go the thing with the front window is that blue strip across the top i think. it's a sort of 'tint' and that's where the 10% and not below the wipers comes from awsome car though, i wanted that colour, but couldn't find one at the time i was buying.
  12. ... for a 32, j/k awesome car, can't wait to see it
  13. Spotted a couple of Skylines at Wakefield today. a white R33 GTST, a silver R32 GTR and a silver Nismo R33 GTR VSpec. it was so awesome. was a good day of racing, not too many accidents, heaps of cool cars
  14. Was at Muddle Bar in the city last night. Vince Sorenti did a private show for my work. It was awesome, he's so funny and i got so drunk"
  15. i replaced everything with Pioneer dealies. splits in the front, 4 ways in the rear doors, AMP and 2x 10" subs in the boot. goes awesome
  16. All i've found out is there's a tow bar for the silvia (S15) that has been made to fit onto skylines (R33). since stagea has same chassis i thought maybe it could be modified, but the extra length of the wagon could be a problem. that's about all the stuff i've found, haven't looked too hard though
  17. All RS Fours have the same ATESSA, but it's not up to the spec of the GTR's. smaller axels and diffs i think. But remembering hte Pulsar GTiR has ATESSA too, it's just a different driveline, so i think the ATESSA system is the same, it's just the driveline that makes the difference
  18. Hey mate, you'll have to bring it out one friday night. the ACT SAU guys meet up at the Museum most friday nights, i'm usually there. i'd love to see what a manual stagea looks like, cheers
  19. Hey mate, you'll have to shwo us how it goes, i'm in canberra too and been looking into a tow bar.
  20. i'm old school stagea, had it for over a year, got 150,000km just clocked up yesterday... damn
  21. yeah you'll find the lip of the bonnet on the GTT comes down further to meet the grill.
  22. hey, i tried that, and i got pinged with a $99 parking in loading zone fine, they didn't believe i was on business, which i was... lowsy parking guys
  23. Yeah i bought a set of cover and netting off him. works wel, you can mount them a few different ways depending on what you're putting in the back you can set it up a way so you can have a bit of a parcel shelf for kids to put books/pillows or whatever on. pretty useful and multi purpose
  24. At least you're not in NSW, you wouldn't be able to drive it at all
