  1. it's not the awd and rb25det, it's the auto + 1800kg with fuel/driver that makes it slow. i'm going to keep this wagon in good condition, then when i get the Autech, i'll take it on a track (RB26DETT + 5spd awd wagon)
  2. I'm not bringing my R33 anymore, it is no longer in my posession
  3. Only 9 weeks to christmas people!!! (6 weeks until cruise date)
  4. i'm not going to bother, my car isn't a sports car and i don't drive it like one would be good to watch though, but wsid is a bit far on a friday night.
  5. I might show up, but leave once we get into civic, i gotta drive to sydney tomorrow
  6. Sorry guys, had to be done I'm looking forward to a good saturday night. black pass sounds good, just gotta be careful of roos/japanese tourist buses
  7. yeah i had a similar thing, just a tip that bolted onto my 3" system. basically cut power in half but you couldn't hear it.
  8. This is something i wanted to do, but not being in adelaide the time it takes to send mine off and a new one delivered is too long. can you keep me informed how you go with it?
  9. Silver R33 GTR in the city around lunchtime
  10. Sort of like this one? Took me a day to fit, including cutting the bumper support, bumper, and remounting the transmission cooler (don't forget to do this, otherwise overheating transmission for you!). mine is a GReddy/Trust kit, but i assume you've got a similar kit.
  11. Spotted a black R32 in the belco carpark out the back.
  12. The car is awesome, i saw it last week, but the best feature i think is the taillights/indicator setup. i love the way the Aus GTR's had it set up, just makes it that much more unique.
  13. Yeah carparks aren't really a good place to flog a car, especially when there are everyone elses cars around, and if you f*ck up you could do a lot of damage. keep it on the track, or the road (up to the speed limit of course)
  14. You wouldn't think forrest is a bad area, i always assumed it to be very upper class, the APS is always driving around there. what a shit though, i hope they get caught, then their 'engine bay' is set on fire
  15. I thought the S1 stagea's had S2 skyline engines. the only difference i noticed between the S1 R33 and S1 Stagea was the coil packs, i forget the name of the bit at the back of the engine that runs the coils, but my S1 stagea doesn't have it, it's inbuilt in the coils. I don't know if this applies to the turbo though, but just something that should be confirmed
  16. they've got a bit of give in them since they do fold back a bit when the door closes for a good weather seal. i too have friends who insist on pushing on the glass to close the door, people need education on frameless windows.
  17. hehe, yeah i thought of these, but i don't think they'd work on a 4 door. our windows are a different shape at the top, and i think my wind deflector might get in the way
  18. I've been looking for this guy for ages, but i forgot the name of the company and then it drifted away. i'll be hitting him up very soon (damn acorns!)
  19. Haha, hardly, it's when i have it in 4WD (j/k) but yeah, i've had them before and it's not fun... might be manual conversion time
  20. No good mate, i hope they're not too bad, a few shouldn't be hard to get fixed. i've got a couple of acorn dents in my bonnet i've been meaning to get fixed.
  21. I might come out again, but i'm starting to get transmission problems. hopefully i'll sort it out before the weekend
  22. Woohoo, luckily my housemate is in brisbane at the moment, i get undercover parking! Stagea + Hail = 2 smashed sunroofs + brand new windscreen
  23. Offset +32 comes to memory when i got my 18x8's fitted last year.
  24. Spotted a white R33 GTR in queanbeyan, and on my way back into land of the living i passed a cefiro along near Russell
