That's exactly what i took into account when i was looking at buying them. i wanted bigger brakes for the off chance i wanted to test it on track. i quickly discarded that idea because the stagea is anything but a race car. This is exactly where i did spend my money, i spent about $4k on full suspension and tyre upgrade and now the car handles like a dream. i can stick to almost any corner and with the awd i don't lose control where my previous car (r33 gtst) would have. i think i went the more sensible route.

I've got my cover off, i was having missfire a while ago, but i think it was also related to an overboost problem. i haven't put the cover back on yet but i haven't had a problem since. i didn't know about it keeping the coils too hot, but makes sense

I hate kangaroos, i hit one full on in my kingswood about 5 years ago. cost $39 to fix, but kingswoods are fuggin tough. I feel for you man, i hope you can find the bits without too much hassle or $$$. good luck

I've got a mate trying to sell a 93 RZ auto with light mods for about $21k, so i would think a nice stock, no hassles 6 spd 95 model would fetch a nice price. just check things like gearbox and clutch because stock sometimes means it's been driven by drivers who don't know what sort of car they've got

that's true, but it's getting warmer now. we'll see how this friday goes. i know i'm keen for a bit of driving around now it's getting back into sunroof weather.

hope you enjoy your new skyline. i remember when i got mine my previous car had been a 1971 V8 kingswood wagon, man were they different cars. i knew to take it easy though and never had an accident in it. you'll enjoy it so long as you're not stupid and get the cops onto you, you can't get away with much in a skyline. and just for the record, civic's don't have rwkw, they have fwkw.

Spotted the infamous R34 GTR in civic today parked outside my office. walked past it on my way to lunch, it was so awesome.... only problem he was getting a parking ticket

Does it have all the factory options such as leather, sunroofs, cargo barrier etc? i paid $18k for mine and it has all those, plus a a few little extras i haven't seen on another stagea. if i was going to sell mine now though i'd look for about $22k as i've spent about $8k on similar upgrades to yours, so i think it's a good starting price. my only downfall is the 150,000km i've run up on it I hit the same wall as you have though. i've been driving around my brothers skyline (which i used to own) and i want a manual again with a bit of stick. since i've finished uni i think i can afford to go one step further and i'm looking into an Autech this time next year. i was also contemplating an R34 GTT, but i'd miss the space of the wagon too much i think. i use it so much now without thinking

Not having a dig, but damn that car makes the stock stagea look high. i think i might take mine back and get it lowered another inch or so. they kept it stock height even though i have fully adjustable coilovers.

It's only a Series 2 with GTR front end. looks good, but the GTR badges need to go I remember seeing a few weeks ago on carpoint a 260RS with this kit, and the roof rails removed. looked really smooth, but again not for me
