Spotted a guy i went to uni with today, he's got an old DR30 hatchback with an RB20DET in it, went flying past me on parkes way and into fyshwick.

I was about to say i'll have a skyline for sale very shortly, but it's a S1, a few more mods than you'd like (FMIC, Bodykit, Suspension) and is gunmetal grey. you'll be able to find what you're looking for very easily though, there's as many R33's in this town as their is Public servants. My main drive is a Stagea though, not the Skyline. hope to see you on a Friday night Leshy

Yeah ill be there, It's my home town so i'll just stay with either mates or parents. shuold be a good weekend, a mate of mine is working one of the bars on the mount.

I'm looking at my first knee reco in about a year i think, but this is due to my taekwondo competition fighting, also a bit of alcohol helped it out. Auto's are great for that though, the first time i buggered my knee i had a manual 33, it sucked to drive. i learned to shift without the clutch pretty well though

Spotted a yellow R34 GTT in civic after i finished work, looked nice. i can't wait to get one

Yeah that's something i've noticed, every 3rd car is a bloody subaru these days, i'm sick of them. especially at the coast

I got my manual licence first go, and i've only owned a manual car for a year since i got it (5 years ago). first car was auto and current car is auto. i don't think you'll care if you get an auto licence after a year you can drive whatever

That's true, i wouldn't say it has GTR performance. having awd is different to having a 1500kg twin turbo awd designed for speed.

I'm 22, but got the wagon when i was 21. i've been in love with the stagea since i found what they were after i bought my R33 and wanted a station wagon again (my first car was a kingswood wagon V8) All my mates thought i was crazy buying it, and my girlfriend says it looks like a hearse too, but now she likes it because of the attention we get in it.

Anyone heading up this weekend for the great race? i know they're only falcodores, but i grew up in this fair town and haven't been to the race for a number of years. the atmosphere is great and there's hundreds of awesome cars in town over the weekend, not just commodores and falcons

I always get looks regardless of where i go. I have 18's, body coloured bumpers, it's lowered and has the 260RS wing, so i wouldn't say it looks like a stock stagea. prime example was when i was in Newcastle this weekend just gone. went cruising down the foreshore, and my girlfriend was getting a little worried because everyone down there was staring at my car as it went past. when i parked and went to the beach, people came down and walked around the car to have a look I've had a lot of older guys asking me about it at servo's while getting fuel, just asking how they drive etc. but the younger crowd certainly give it some attention becuase either they don't know what it is, or they know and don't see them very often. its great, so much more attention than my R33 used to get. I'll see how it goes at the Bathurst 1000 this weekend. i wouldn't mind showing some commodore/falcon drivers how it's supposed to be done

i already have the side skirts and rear lip from that dayz kit, and i've got an autech copy wing. the only thing i'd be insterested in is the front bumper. my fmic doesn't get much cooling with the factory bumper, and i don't really want to cut it up Also i don't think i'll be interested in making a fake 260RS, i'm planning to upgrade to one in about a year once i'm not a graduate at work and have a decent salary

i get shuddering at full lock with torque split turned on, so i tend to only use it when i (rarely) go offroad on dirt or muddy tracks

Spotted a silver R32 pull up next to me leaving the Belco carpark last night.

Awesome, 2 stagea's will keep the people guessing. We'll have to get a spot next to each other "why are they different, but the same?"

If nothing else comes up i'll pull the wagon out. i've got plenty of room for an esky or 8

Spotted a silver series2 in newcastle today just past the john hunter hospital. had a chick driving i think, i was in a white commodore, so i don't think they saw me

cruise control would be so handy. that's the one thing that's missing from skylines/stageas that i really would have liked for all those long trips

Spotted a silver R33 S1 in civic with what looked like a veilside kit on it, had a massive cross hanging from the rearview mirror too

Just a question, there's quite a lot of escavation work going on around that area, the event isn't being held on dirt is it? i'm not too familiar with the park, but whatever work they're doing is quite close to it.
