  1. yeah meeting at maccas in the morning so we can all rock up together sounds good, we can have our own skyline (and stagea) section.
  2. Oh, i should be able to bring my R33 along too, my g/f will drive it down the road to it. so hopefully i can bring 2 cars
  3. I shall attend as this fine establishment is a 2 minute walk from my house
  4. Spotted Sigsputnik again last night coming into belco. went right past you but i don't think you saw me
  5. I had a really bad sputtering coming from my turbo for a whlie, then it would revert to stock-like feeling of boosting, as in it had none. it turns out my boost controller had adjusted itself and was spiking really badly. i just had to turn the boost down and it's fine now. i don't know if that's similar to your problem, but it's the cheapest one i can think of
  6. i even got my car sideways in the wet yesterday and i didn't have to try hard. commodore drivers just take advantage of the wet because it's the only time they can do that
  7. Canberra people have an annoying habbit of sitting in the right lane, meaning you have to overtake them on the left, which is illegal on most double lanes, especially dedicated overtaking lanes. i know NSW have "Keep left unless overtaking" signs posted all over the state, but in the ACT the drivers seem oblivious to the fact they're causing road rage
  8. some models of stagea came with the feature that the bottom of the front windscreen heated up so you didn't rip your wiper blades off if they had frozen to the windscreen. mine instead came with a luggage fan (wtf?)
  9. my car came with them, but they were dodgy and kept falling off. i had to get the plastic welder to fix them on. they don't look too hard, maybe check out 4 door skyline ones see if they fit, it's the same wheel base
  10. Yeah i saw a red one in braddon on saturday, just after i saw frink and mick actually. i think it was a 355, but i don't know my ferrari's very well
  11. Ah, you can't beat leather. it's just more sensual and makes the car look so much more classy. the only problem is when i leave the sunroof coves open and the leather gets really hot
  12. They are, i've parked next to marc2s S2 and they're identical from the qtr panel back, except the clear indicators on the boot.
  13. You're a formal run pimp now hey Gus? nice career move
  14. Spotted a silver R33 S2 heading down belco way around lunchtime
  15. the latch it hooks into in the ceiling on my car is busted, so i have to just hook it over the weather strip bit, it bends in a horrible way after about 5 minutes
  16. Nice choice, i've got TEIN coilovers in my wagon, the ride is stiff, but she sticks to the road now!
  17. Well it took them a while to find the problem, so it was $300 in labour, but if you told them first up what it was, they could fix it pretty quickly, i would say less than an hour labour
  18. It's the japanese translation of STAGEA, i thought everyone knew that?
  19. The sparky found the problem today, it was this exact thing. I've had the ecu rewired and now it's working fine. thanks a lot for the help guys, i'm glad to have this problem finally fixed
  20. I know i'd want to arrive in the class of leather and leg room can't go wrong with the Madwagon
  21. Would have been Marc, he owns discount tyres in belco and gunny Spotter Sigsputnik last night going down canberra ave, had a quick chat also spotted djhatton's car outside ACTab in dickson
  22. Hey guys. just thought i'd revive an old thread. i was browsing through the import market today and saw prestige have a yelow series 2 manual with a towbar for import. they must have made tow bars for the stagea in japan, so i can only assume they'd be available over here
  23. yeah that's fine too. it charges the battery fine, just something else is discharging it. the sparky hooked an ameter up to it overnight once and said nothing was draining from it, but 2 days later it was flat
  24. Hey guys. I've had a look around and this sounds like a unique problem to me. I've got this R33 and the battery keeps going flat. I purchased a new battery and got an electrician to look at it, he said it had a bad earth. Now, after about 2 days from driving it, the battey is as flat as a tack, and the alarm is trying feably to sound, but it sounds more like a magpie giving birth. The same sparkies have had another look at it, say it's not draining from the battery, there's no discharge at all, yet the battery still goes flat. They removed the alarm and put another new battery in it, hoping its something to do with the alarm, but alas, the battery still went flat over the weekend. If anyone has had a similar problem to this, or is as stumped as me, give us a yell so i can tell the sparkies what to look for, Cheers guys
  25. I was followed into civic thismorning by a nice stock looking gunmetal R33 GTR. was for sale too
