  2. Interesting. Must spin the gear around to the point where is aint stripped.... So if i have the gear at max. hot, then turn it down when I turn the car on, will I hear it then?
  3. well the nasty problem is becoming worse. It only happened before when I started the car, now its happening when I change anything with the aircon Has anyone tried to replace the motor? Location advice? Anyone with advice on how to take the dash out?

  5. what computer are you using? Some after market ones cause the engine to crank over a number of times before starting...
  6. I have a r33 s2 GTST with a JJR stainless front pipe. Different kettle of fish the GTR, i know... I was happy with the integrity of the welds and bends on the JJR front pipe, and the fit was ok, but I did have to change some of the studs off the turbo to bolts as I could get nuts on a couple of them due to the shape of the pipe.

  8. well i'm happier thinking thats its a leaf in a pipe then a ticking bomb of a airbag zNow I just have to figure out how to get into the pipes and check. does anyone know if the aircon units on the s2 r33 have a filter?
  9. it ticks for maybe 10-20sec on startup... had a fmic installed 5000km ago, but the ticking has only been there the past 500km. do you mean the fan up front near the radiator/intrcooler of the one inside the cabin for the heater core?
  10. Hi All ye' Learned People! Each time I start my r33 series 2 GTST a ticking noise comes from under the dash, on the passenger side of the middle. It doesn't matter if the car is warm, e.g. drive for 30mins turn off the re-start or if I turn the car on and off from cold. I dont know if its something in the airconditioner pipes or if its the airbag initialising... If I turn the aircon off (and fans off) the noise is still there... So I dont think its in the pipes... Anybody had anything similar??? Thanks Thomas

  12. Hey All, The time has come for the timing belt to be changed. would love to do it myself but have never done one before so any pointers? Anybody done one before that may be interested in playing in an engine bay for a lil while to help a fellow brother out??? Cheers, Thomas

  14. Hi Guys, Pulling my keys out of my pocket on Saturday and my key ring loop on my keys snapped. Now I don't have anyway of securing my keys together and I am lugging round the ignition key and the clump of others in seperate pockets.... Anyone know if NISSAN would be able to replace the key? Its for a 96 r33 skyline... Cheers, Thomas

  16. I GET IT!!!! I'LL GET A PUMP AND COMPUTER!!! (didnt have any choice bout the turbo, mine shat itself and I needed a new one) I'm looking into the GReddy E-Manage Ultimate. Anyone had experience with it???
  17. So, if I leave the boost controller turned off and run the standard 7pound setup should be safer for the time being??? Haltech or PowerFC?

  20. Hi All, Wondering how many PSI i could run in my r33 GTST. I am planning on getting a boost cut defender (short term until I get a PowerFC). Mods are: GReddy front mount GReddy Profec 2 Type B boost controller 3" stainless dump, Gutted Cat, 3' Stainless TRUST exhaust K&N hi-flow panel filter CGC Hi-Flow turbo The rest of the car, engine is standard... How much boost could I run with the standard injectors and fuel pump without it being dangerous??? Cheers Thomas

  23. Hi Guys, Noticed to day for the first time that my fuel needle is moving around and not staying the same place. I fueled up this morning and the needle was all the way at the top, but after driving for a little while i noticed it was dropping really quickly. I pulled over thinking I had sprung a leak, but as soon as i stopped the needle started coming back up. It has been fluctuating real bad today... I think I have a losse wire somewhere... Anyone had a similar issue and know where they usually come loose??? Ideas? Thanks
  24. Just fitted a GReddy Type M front mount kit and it looks the goods and works fricken well. Had it on the dyno and it was making 15more bhp then before. can feel the difference in pipe temps on each side of the cooler.
