  1. Hi Guys, I am about to pull the engine out of my 94' BNR32. Basically I am looking for some advice as to what I have missed given that I am only seeking 250-280rwkw (ands thats in the future not now). I am primarily looking for reliability atm. So here is what I have: -water pump -gates timing belt and new ilder bearings -new turbos -new dump pipes -new silicon heater hose kit -bought a full engine gasket kit so I can do the gaskets for the plenum. I think I should get a sump baffle whilst the engine is out. I just cannot decide what one! I have been looking at the tomei one that fits in the standard sump. Thanks for your input guys.
  2. get some bright red race tape and wrap it around your column
  3. Hi Mate, if you're willing to post these puppies they're sold to me!
  4. Awesome car mate. I was looking at one before I bought my bnr32. Love the wing btw.
  5. I could seriously use this kit to make my turbo manifold for my mini!
  6. nice work! What brand dumps are they???
  7. Mate be happy to give u a hand. I'm in holworthy - alternatively might be able to pop out to urs if u got tools.
  8. You want to keep them... That way when your uncertain of what your driving you'll have reminders everywhere!
  9. Try here - lots of people wanting to sell rims: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Sa...-Parts-f12.html
  10. Bought some more parts! On the way is a new fuel filter, water pump, Gates Racing timing belt kit and also new silicon radiator hose kit! Pics to follow...
  11. Again - not trying to be rude - but how long is a peice of string? Heres what you need to decide: 1. How good a paint job do u want? Do you want something that will look good for 12 months or something that will look great still in 5-10 years time? Then the variables come in: A cheap windows in respray not including door jams, boot jam inside of bonnet boot etc you may get out of it for around $3k. But as you want a slight colour change that'll include the door and bonnet jams therefore it most likely will be something more like $4-5k. Windows out without taking it back to bare metal probably 6-7k. Show winning paint job somewhere in teh region of $10-20k.... Giving a price for paint is not simple! Try calling some painters and ask them to lock in a quote sight unseen!
  12. Hi-flow the standard turbo if possible. Good results to be had there. It depends on how stuffed your housing is though...
  13. How long is a peice of string? There are so many variables in it. Do you want to pull your windows out? Engine bay? Inside the boot, doors, pillars, etc... Has your car got any damage or rust? Are you changing the wing? Bare metal spray? See where I am headed...? A simple answer for a simple question: somewhere between $2000 and $15,000 depending on the quality you want.
  14. Where abouts in SE QLD are you? I am interested in the Enkei's and might be willing to road trip it up to pick them up from my work in Coffs Harbour...
  15. Thats the plan... Easy enough to twirl the spanners on - well in theory at least... I have a few things I need to tend to on the engine as well... THe plugs have come out look pretty healthy and compression is good so I just want to service the heck out of it and keep it running...
  16. You'll definately pick up other advantages in regards to shell rigidity with the cage - I wouldnt be too concerned about its weight.
  17. Well, it was inevitable... My turbos are definately on their way out... I am now shooting a lot of oil out the exhaust and I am pretty certain that the seals in either one of the turbos is gone and they're the culprit thats painting my garage door black... Luckily I now have the turbo rebuild kit. I am sourcing more parts at the moment... I think i'll do the major service (timing belt, ilder bearings and water pump) when the engine is out of the car as that'll be the easiest time... Also trying to source some nice cam gears. Heres the pics of the new kit:
  18. IF you're keen to see them gone PM me a price posted to NSW 2173 and we'll go from there... I want some new rims and these'll fit the bill
  19. Keen on the rims can u shoot me a price with postage to 2173 nsw? Cheers
  20. I'm pretty sure I read an article about a chap that was booked on the spit i think twice (twso cameras in a row) and he took it to court and had it ruled as one offence. Thereby he only lost 1 set of points and paid one fine.
  21. definately best description I have seen of a part... For that sir, free bump!
  22. Isnt there some kind of regulation regarding the proximity of speed cameras due to the fact you can argue that you were only speeding once, not twice therefore it should only be one offence and one fine.
