  1. duncan, thanks for your help man, greatly appreciated. obviously go to Nissan spare parts and buy a new, genuine one? i gathered it was the tune. even a stadard one -should- be able to beat a unmodified '92 holden astra....my mate (who drives so said vehicle) keeps up with mine all the way up the speedo, so i will get that sorted as well. all in all a great, smooth car though johnno
  2. gday all, relatively new to the turbo scene, but bought a skyline a few months back after owning many a v8 over the years. it is relatively modified, but still runs on a stock turbo and all general maintanence has been carried out by me. a few days ago i noticed my heat level was rapidly rising so i plled to the nearest servo and filled my close-to-depleted radiator with much needed water. i took it home and spied where it was leaking from underneath the car (th pulley (?) that holds the radiator fan onto the actual car) and thought i'd just you more experienced guys what you think it is. i searched for a while, and the general consensus seems to be the water pump, or more precisely it's seal. it had its timing belt changed at 120xxx km's, so i dont think it needs a new one (now 147xxx km) pic included to where it is leaking from. cheers, johnno bonus question: stock turbos general spool up at 2500/3000 revs and should redline at/a little past 7000rpm, would i be correct? for some reason, mine limits at 5000rpm, therefore only giving me an effecive 2000rpm to play with. Would it be because of my Wolf 3d ecu and it's tune??
