And I did not specify what I consider to be wow So its Wow. Obviously you cant be tooooooo impressed with the performance when they are meeting the expectations of the items they are made to replace lol. Oh wow it did what it was meant to! Ahhhh sigh im freaking bored..

Honestly not sure what is happening in the NZ yet I am still waiting to see one fail here. They are particularly common on the Subaru and homely MHI based forums, yet no failures from what I have seen (other than the one you yourself posted Lith, however I am of a different opinion on that one). I'll honestly stand by wow, they are a very inexpensive option and can be sought in so many specs you can use it in place of so many OEM applications with minimal (read acceptable) hassle. Take it this way, I have a GT2860RS on my current motor, I can order nearly any spec kando in a housing configuration that will bolt straight on right down to the front houisng hose connections. I can also order it with any fitting kit I like without additional cost. You do not get that when you buy a garrett. They are also roughly half the price of a Garrett before you tac on the GCG tax (fking massive in itself), plus everything else they sting you for. Housing options, extra. Actuator, extra. Any level of custom request, much extra. Email kando and ask for something they do not stock, he will offer to invoice you and will list it in his shop for you to buy. The factory will put it all together for you as you request and send it out. He has even agreed to port housings for me in the past, to whatever spec I request. Yes, wow.

lol i wonder... im trying to get my hands on one of those granades to see just how messy the hype is
-
lol everybody is still spending double on fail-me-do brand names for me the Kando's continue to Wow.

Why dont you try and make a trickey mickey rear wheel Stao? Smash the BW EFR market with some sort of 1960s 'space age' material on the rear wheel?
-
With only a 20kw jump it definitely feels more like a 30% increase everywhere in the rev range. Literally shitting on the old T28 based setup. FYI this is still the same fabled +T, just with the bigger turbo and the Jez-meisters tune. Will get some video when I get a chance, need to be warey of where I drive this car lol. EDIT: sorry yeah was tuned on BP98
-
Im not convinced thats metal man. Whenever Ive had a metallic issue like that the alloy is generally coarser. Have you checked everything? If that was from the turbo you would have crazy shaft play, easy thing to check and rule out THB. It may be dirt sucked in from when you had the rocker breathers open.

Fo sho, ill get it out of the car on the weekend. Jez is up on the coast and were in Sydney, so effectively got home some time after 3am and didnt think too much about the graph lol. We did try to tune beyond the stock AFM resolution but werent having much luck with some ping becoming evident. AFRs were in the low 11s and timing close to 20 up top (from memory). Not sure if its a +T thing or if we could have done something different. It is very VERY fast, the number is very deceiving (me being a 200kw SR veteran afterall). Might run it up on another known dyno down here.

Maybe he will see full boost by 4? Wouldnt that be better? I mean the 20g is a 300kw compressor, not more. The L2 rear wheel can easily flow 300kw, so that all balances out. That TD05H-18g we tuned the other night made 526 NM at 4400rpm, and the blowoff didnt blow open . Only tuned to 14psi but making full boost in the 3s and Jez said it was starting to boost in the 2s. 207rwkw @ 14psi, we lucked out on the Z32 and had to go back to the stock SR20 AFM. Power is one thing but delivery is King.

[Closed] Borg Warner Efr Series Turbos
GTScotT replied to Lithium's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
I hope youve done some big racing in your time, you may need to dig out the flame proof suit again. I can see nothing more than this comment instantly making you the vilain and St John himself becoming the...... Saint? Not taking anyones side, shit go for all and my disapointment lies in the product alone. Maybe ask Kando Dynamic if he can supply new shafts? -

Meanwhile in the Kando Dynamic thread............................... Please take this lightly That's the described 'google method' at play. Roll out your Beta early and let everyone have a 'harmless play' to determine all the real world bugs. I cant remember on how many pages that has been described as whats been going on but its obviously not sitting too well with people $20,000 out of pocket. -

So harsh! That is insult to injury after waiting so long to get it and watching the failures filter through. I raise you $10.... honestly I am actually very excited to see the TSIW results and definitely hope the shaft does not bend! -
photos of the metal dust and where you found it?

Interested in a trade for a very worked sigma? -
I was saying that at autobahn you can buy some brass pieces to replace the return bung into the sump. The factory RB return bung is massive, but most GT series and MHI turbos run a 5/8 hose diameter (16mm), so if you rock into autobahn they will carry a range of TFI branded brass fittings in various sizes. The chances are they will have one that is the same thread size as the stock RB bung but has a 5/8 hose fitting on it, otherwise they will have a 5/8 bung of whatever thread type and most likely have a screw in piece that reduces the size of the thread. All in all you buy the new brass piece, bolt it in and get a 5/8 oil resistant hose and your laughing. let me know if u have trouble tracking down those brass bits as I know where I can get em

Hey guys, Finally had enough of this side project me and my brother started some 6 or 7 years back. Is an 81 GH Sigma with the 2.6L Astron motor. Trim is all original (bar some autometer goodness) and is in excellent condition. Car was factory metalic green and has the matching trim colour. Goodies: HKS spec GT3037S (3076R) .63 v band rear Steampipe exhaust manifold GFB 38mm gate (plumbed) All alloy cooler piping (custom) 450x300x76 FMIC V band dump and 3" TBE TR magna injection with foward facing TB Bosch 550cc injectors Malpassi FPR Camtech 'stage 5' cam (will supply with a 'turbo cam' that has is spooling off the stall also) Ford C4 auto, reverse pattern shifter, 2600 stall NSX 330mm front rotors and PBR HSV twin spot front calipers 1" brake master cylinder EMS 4044 standalone ECU Bosch 045 external fuel pump (its massive) Facet lift pump, fuel surge tank (couple of liters cant remember) Pedders race shocks and springs, pedders sway bars (rear not fitted yet) Autometer: boost, water temp, oil temp, oil pressure, pyrometer, stoichimeter gauges 19 row oil cooler S14 alloy radiator The bad: BYO wheels or sort out a deal if you like them No rego (your issue, for what it is you cant argue) Is in undercoat but has been fully pannel beated BAR the bonnet (big money spent to beat it dead straight) We want to swap for something newer and preferably Nissan. Toyota is fine. Here is a list: Nissan; S13+ silvia R32+ skyline A31+ cefiro Toyota; MA70, JZA70 supra MZ20, GZ20 old soarer JZZ30, UZZ30 soarer No price on it, it owes us a LOT of money, but we are happy to swap for a car of interest and we can discuss the terms of swap with the interested party. A photo: Thanks,

LMAO @ TIAL stealthiness, man you crack me up. I wish we lived nearby -_- and you can get a TFI brass fitting to put a 5/8 bung on the block from autobahn, its a 3/4 from stock i think!
