  1. This. But make sure there is enough room for nuts on the opposite side.
  2. Correction **bottom of the mop bucket.
  3. Recently had an issue with a genuine walbro in a GTR failing at 300kw. Direct wired the pump to a quality relay and suddenly had ample fuel (700cc injectors). Give that a shot if your wirring is factory.
  4. The Pro S has the HKS special rear housing which appears to be appropriately designed for the GT30 turbine family. It requires the HKS dump pipe to work and is a fairly trick piece of kit. The KAI has adopted the GT28 based HKS housing from the GTRS... It bolts to the factory design RB dump flange and is generally a more compact unit. I have not read heavily into the KAI as once I saw the results I decided the Pro S was the one to have.... Hopefully one of the KAI boys can talk about their experiences and can confirm the part number on the CHRA (I would want to know it is the same unit). But there are already a couple of KAI threads you would want to look for.
  5. Unlike the Kando gear which is nearly polished.
  6. I removed it from a setup once.. Not knowing what it was lol. Car has run fine every since
  7. FKN LOL This thread was getting bullsh*t enough on its own.
  8. Man I'm trying to think of something to spank you with but youve covered your ass so well with that comment! Not that I like apple at all, candy apple green skylines though....
  9. Awesome! Cant wait to see the dyno sheet.
  10. You will be hard pressed to find any on this forum with those turbos in a twin setup. You would also assume anyone with those turbos would be thinking about power more than they are lag. Most people on this forum would consider ONE of them laggy making a little over 300rwkw. Two would be shy of double and obviously very laggy. GL
  11. That's a lot of supporting mods.. 50k or more I think. Your also talking something like 1000hp of flow, are you actually chasing that kind of power?
  12. Hint: pop the stock suspension and tyres back on the rear. Two things that are hindering you are no squat on take off and the larger/heavier rim. I remember going when I was a P plater my fwd SR20 would do 0-100 in 7s on 15" rims and about 10s on 17" rims.. Imagine how embarrassing it was to race someone with your poser rims on lol.
  13. That is very interesting, a turbine wheel swap.. Could you tell us what the NS111 turbine is native to and if the T28 compressor and cover was retained? I am soon to be an SR20 boy again EDIT: Just read a post from you on SR20 forum in 2004 that confirms the NS111 is the Disco (2860rs) and GTRS (2871) turbine. Thus if these results are accurate we could replicate them with the NS111 wheel and whatever compressor is in the original S15BB turbo.. Interesting read for all I'm sure.. Magic combo LOL
  14. OK quit the nonsense, call Kyle and tell him what the problem is. The simple answer is the housing needs to go back to ATP to have a machinist surface the bolt holes so a nut can fit in place. The housing was rushed and not finished properly, simple as that. If ATP cannot do that for you ask Kyle if he can. If not, ask for a part refund on the housing and keep it OR buy the uber expensive GCG alternative. If you get a refund on the dud housing and get to keep it, you can find a place that can do the machine work for you, but don't be conned into going to that level UNLESS you have received some form of refund. The comment about sending someone to China is absolutely correct.
  15. Haha thanks mate. You could come up for the drive and take a look, if u like it hire a trailer while your here and return it to a Vic Depot. Don't think it would cost more than 400 in fuel and hire, hell when you see the boot full of spares you'll be laughing at the value! Take care mate
  16. I think we'd all be keen to see these results.. I doubt there is some dirty trick to magic turbos on the GTR lol.
  17. Yes you can rotate it, no problem. Spin it round like this, right round round round. < Link click!
  18. It was the SL2 25G item they make for the evo. Evo 10.5cm twin scroll housing.
  19. Apparently Stao has an even better housing for the G3 turbo, but based on results shown you would be mad not to. Such good value, as always.
  20. As above. IMHO it would be cheaper and easier to buy another working RB20. If not, atleast buy some oversized slugs (non forged wont cost much) so you get the thing right (as mentioned above). GL
  21. Naw he said the owner snapped it trying to bend the fin back. Either way a compressor and the housing it sits in are round, I dont see it bending the one blade by hitting the housing. Impossible. I also dont see it being replaced under warranty either.. Might want to be careful with an evo in future lol... Considering it was also a 25G compressor I would also assume the motor wasnt factory either.. Might want to be very $$ careful in future.
  22. Pretty sure that would happen if something hit it with some RPM.
  23. This. This again, I've also had compressor meet housing and got the big jet engine whine! Bent from something hitting it lol. Myth busted!
  24. More photos for those who seem to think the cars a transformer, looks good in one photo and turns into trash monster extreme in the next. Enjoy.
