  1. Nice work Josh!! Get the graph up when you get a chance.
  2. May as well lol If we didn't all love to give our 2c we wouldn't be so poor.
  3. They have recently built a skyline specific TD range, but I am not sure if anyone has one yet. Will wait to see what OP comes back with!
  4. Be careful... If bits of shite are de-materializing inside the manifold its only going to lead to a busted EFR and no warranty. I'd be twice as careful with trying to weld it.. And I'd seriously consider parting ways.
  5. Thanks for providing that! What core is in the highflow? TD05/06 16/18/20G?? Regardless of which one the power is low for E85, but telling us which turbo will help me understand how far off target you are. You should try have your tuner turn the motor a bit longer... RB20s aren't shy at revving to 8k in some cases, and a fiddle with some adjustable cam gears may help you broaden that powerband a fair way.
  6. Hey mate please give us more detail on your car and setup, and provide a dyno sheet if you could! We can try help you see better results, and the details are always good to share for other members.
  7. You have to clean everything extremely thoroughly when you get it back from machinists man.. And check all measurements on anything that you had them do. I have had a block bored in the past and discovered the PTB wasn't what I asked for. After numerous discussions of 'shell be right' and a bit of vocal encouragement they rectified the issue. If you want a job done right you have to do it yourself, and anything you need someone else to do you should still do as much of it yourself as you can (such as the final measurements and QA process).
  8. Selling the following item: S15 spec R auto gearbox, 113,000kms when manual conversion done. Taken from a handpicked 2 owner car in pristine condition (car can be inspected to prove overall condition) Is the same auto used in most RWD Nissans, bell housing is detachable (can be used in skyline with bell housing swap) Comes with converter, flex plate, bolts etc. $500 - Pick up Bankstown
  9. Keep them. When it comes time to sell your car it will sell for 3k more than the average skyline just because of how f**king good they look on it. Selling rims like this is always hard, most people don't have the money to pay what they are worth (me included, or I would buy them from you). GLWS.
  10. Something here is very wrong. What did your tuner say about the issue? It's reasonably proven now that the SS1PU on an SR is within the realms of a responsive turbo, and will make 240 without breaking a sweat. Yours is both laggy and failing to get anywhere near the power. If you go back to page 1 you will be able to find my dyno sheet in the reference list, mine is an SS1PU on an SR with NO VCT.
  11. I know a fair amount about them, perhaps best to discuss via PM. Value for money you are better off going with the HG mate. A 'bolt on' kando will cost 700, only 150 less than a HG bolt on and you get very limited after sales support. Stao is in Melbourne and answers the phone at midnight to talk about turbos. Follow his thread and you will see the jaw dropping customer service he provides, its worth the money on its own. Anyway, if you are taking the mods seriously I will expect to see a PM And you are in Sydney so we should tee up and talk shop
  12. Stock manifold you want a L2 20G, the T67 wont fit and the TD06H lag won't have a payoff. ARTZ has a 20G lowmounted on his car, correct me if I am wrong but given his time again I believe he would go a HG highflow? The cost to benefit ratio isnt high enough. My recommendation is the July 13 spec 2IU highflow from HG with a 3" comp housing.
  13. Great. Will you be tuning it and getting a dyno sheet? Where are you located?
  14. Please provide your dyno sheet and update on any drag results if possible Sounds great.
  15. No it will be fine. The best thing to do will be to have a good fabricator cut off the T2 flange and weld on a nicely shaped reducer and a T3 flange. The housing is stainless so you can weld on a stainless T3 flange no hassle. Read the last 5 pages of this thread as we have been discussing exactly this (i want a T3 7163). Also, is go a bit larger and get the 6758 or 7163 as the 20s like to rev :-)
  16. It will be more responsive and make more power. Everywhere. A guy on NS put a 6758 (bigger) on his SR and it was a bit like a V8 in terms of delivery. Wait for the 7163, that might be a game changer.
  17. Doesn't it need to move roughly 12mm? Whats the go here? Disco we better see a full write up on the differences once you're done
  18. Yep. Just about anything sub 3L wanting that many wasps. Am also keen as f**k to see said results.
  19. Yeah they are mitsu items. I have a couple but I'm not sure if they are the correct model...
  20. What model CAS do you need?
  21. Definitely check ECU coolant temp sensor (the 2 wire one) and definitely check fuel system (despite lack of ping). I have had cars drop a pump or reg and not ping, but lost lots of power everywhere. Like you noted, with a blocked filter I encountered mega ping/hesitation, but I still wouldn't rule it out entirely. These are definitely your first point of call.
  22. there is meant to be an o-ring, buy the correct o-ring and fix it properly.
