Contents insurance will likely cover this. Call your home and contents insurance provider and discuss it with them. You will get covered for new replacement value, meaning you can buy a set of -9s with the money. GL!

Refer to your alter-ego Simon-R32's car for appropriate E85 results if you ask me. Who tuned it?

As usual I see lots of confusion on cat sizes. Most people take "5" cat" as having 5" flanges, me included. Where as people are refering to the actual body of the cat. It could have 2" flanges for all we know. The body is also important, the larger the body the larger the cell size at a given count. A 5" body with a 200 cell count will flow worse than a 4" body with a 100 cell count etc. I think people in the know need to be more specific when stating figures with cats.

Unfortunately, I do not need to have driven one to be in a position to teach someone so pompous how to drive it. The only balls your money will buy you are the kind that someone like you would enjoy in their mouth. The rest of us will enjoy having a pair of own balls for uses such as: being a man, driving fast, telling off pompous pricks on forums, being keyboard warriors, etc. It has been said, I dont see the issue with this thread. P.S. I bet my left testicle that S15 would f***ing Spank your GTR on the street. SPANK! HA! And I can do so due to the fact that, as stated above, I HAVE BALLS! Have a Fantastic day.

Creating Proper Series 2 Clear Glass Indicators

Have you tried to acid wash the orange lense? lol -
Definitely see to some minor head work and better manifolds. I would personally stick with this turbo seeing as you have it already and go for a .7x twin scroll setup. With the right manifolds and a little bit of head work you could see up to 350 with that turbo. ATP do the twin scroll rear housing in question. Mate that to a 6boost with the appropriate gate material and perhaps a greddy plenum and you have quite the impressive setup. The head work will be what gets you there tho, a minor port with good cams and springs will do wonders. GL

+1, changing the ecu wont get you closer to the power you want, changing tuner might. I am assuming this hasnt been built or tuned yet. So I would recomend rods and a crank collar + jun oil pump or similar to proceed. Forged pistons are not the only thing you need to reliably get the RB to 400rwkw. Your head will also struggle to see that, so a port job and potentially a better inlet manifold will also be in order. GL

That is fairly close to the max you will get out of them as is. As stated E85 will get you further, yet they are fairly on the money for their efficient max on 98. Remembering that you have over 310rwkw, another 20 would be the most you could get (and the question is raised is that even worth the outlay?). GL

Gearbox Cruching In Reverse
GTScotT replied to kma's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
to engage reverse properly always select a further away gear first. Obviously 5th wont let you into reverse, yet if you select 3rd then 4th before selecting reverse you will get it in without the crunch. My procedure: Stop, select neutral, shake stick, select 3rd, select 4th, select reverse. Works every time in all 5 speeders. Dilmah, dooo try it. -
6boost With Internal Gate 3076r
GTScotT replied to sriver killer's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
You probably wont be for long when he finds out you are telling people you got it that cheap. I also recall they can be made with no gate extension. -
I live on Queen Street in Bankstown NSW, there is a dip in the road just past my house where if you hit it hard enough you will get a fair way airborne. I know this because police cars regularly do so. Take into consideration that I live here, so I have done my research. The individuals in question will be cruising down Milperra road, before turning into Queen and putting their lights on. They then turn the lights back off once they get to the next street and continue about their business. I have also regularly seen highway patrol in my area with one arm out the window doing atleast double the suburban speed limit with smoke in hand. I have made MANY complaints, and usually, the person at Bankstown police station laughs at me and says 'goodbye' before hanging up. Consider yourself lucky to have been given an 'excuse'.

In all honesty, and speaking from experience, you will either need a large sum of money OR need to accept the reality and cop it sweet. As much as it sucks, the law did not change on the day you chose to do 40 over the limit. This is not a cop out in any way, if you are going to drive fast, you are going to need to accept you are going to A get caught or B kill yourself. I dont care for traffic laws in the slightest to be honest with you, as much as I believe in them I could not care less for how often they are broken. I am the last person to want to spank your ass and say 'bad boy' or 'that will teach you'. Yet the reality is, unless you are prepared to spend some 20k on legal expenses, you are going to cop it either way. You really should consult a solicitor from here. Fighting the ticket as not guilty will show contempt for the law, and result in closer to the maximum penalty should you fail. Pleading guilty from the start will result in a more leniate sentence without a doubt, at this point you can ensure you have a GOOD solicitor with a GOOD mouth on him to bring light to the magistrate the conditions under which you commited the offence. Try to find somebody who is regular in your local court and is confident in an outcome. For reference, pleading guilty cost me $14,600, pleading not guilty costed a friend closer to $40,000 to proove the police had insufficient evidence. Best of luck, such is my 2c/reality check.

R33 One Peice Dump/front Pipe Compared To R34
GTScotT replied to drifta1600's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Buy the one that suits your car. Justjap sell them for the same price $179, you would have to be mickey mouse to want to buy an ebay one and cut it for that price. http://justjap.com/store/product.php?produ...at=0&page=1 For reference: http://www.google.com.au/images?client=fir...024&bih=575 -
Rb25det With Motec M48 Need Help!
GTScotT replied to brendo.r32's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
By the sounds of it you dont have the ecu yet do you? If you do, you would use it to control both injectors and ignition with the stock ECU that suits your motor to do the rest. I believe ignition outputs 1,5,3 and 2,4,6 are bridged running waste spark. As for injectors to suit 500hp, 550cc would suffice yet headroom is always good and 700cc seems to be where people usually go. -
Personally, I would have the current tune backed up then cut my losses and have it re-tuned elsewhere. I doubt it can be much more than that when you gained so little HP from all those mods, combined with poor economy it seems like it should be tune related. If there was a separate issue it would throw the tune out when fixed anyway.

Hey guys, Another relevant question to this thread; I just installed my JJR Stealth cooler to my S1 R33, the reo needs the most minor of trims which is great. My issue is that the parkers in my M spec bar foul the end tank of the cooler on the drivers side. I have the cooler mounted as far back as i possibly can.. The pipping all lined up perfect this way also. The top of the cooler is where it fouls, I have considered mounting it lower also yet this honestly wont help.. Has anyone else had this issue? Pic: Thanks,

See the numbers on the front of the turbo that say 16v10? Well it turns out if you search for that you get the following results: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/se...ghlite=%2B16v10 And specifically: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Rb...ml&hl=16v10 A tip; if you search for the wrong thing.. The forum wont explode ! Just make an effort, Im sure that would have been the first thing EVERYONE would have searched for. Cheers,
