  1. Really? Care to elaborate? I have not had any experience with the unit myself yet did not expect it to be up to the task mentioned above.
  2. Yes it would. Same turbos. Price is good, whatever it looks like. GL with sale OP.
  3. Gearbox will either be sold with the setup or once the turbo sells. Same goes for the motor. If the turbo setup sells first Ill part the rest out one bolt at a time if I have to. If the turbo doesnt sell theres no other sales.
  4. LOL @ Trigger happy ban hammer. Relax Ash! Yet proximity, you could have included your power figure so your post made more sense lol
  5. What kind of clamp? Hose claim? Ive got heaps come get one ??!?! *Gasps for breath clasping shirt collar* HRR HRR :| Only kidding, cant wait to see the results
  6. LOL NICE. SR20 FTW. Which model is that? A fairly big one by the looks of things. Id really like to see just how hard these things go.. The 5557 seems very interesting to me. I tend to see 35Rs looking/sounding fairly lazy.. I wonder if these turbos will provide that RIP that a turbo that size should have.
  7. Yes, and where are your results lol
  8. From what I know the good jap pumps (nismo, sard etc) run out of puff at the 450rwkw mark. Have seen a couple of setups with that sort of number who could not go further due to their fuel system.
  9. Is this $350 for disc ONLY? Where is the pressure plate?
  10. Realistically, they can do whatever they like. It is your word against theirs. To get behind that trim piece, you can simply undo the screws holding it in behind the ash tray and above the speedo. From memory the rest of it is clipped in. Be careful though, it is fairly easy to crack. You also unclip the gearboot and there are a couple of screws for it under there too. Logic will prevail with this one if you take your time.. Best bet is to feed it into the glove box, that was its reasonably out of the way and you can still get to it. Generally if they actually look in your glove box you are up the creek anyway, yet having it there will minimize the attention. GL
  11. That is a massive turbo, if your going something that big you should either know what you are doing or be taking the advice of a GOOD mechanic. No offense intended mate, but this sort of question is not one that needs to be asked... You are looking at a turbo capable of over 1000HP.. Which in turn will be a $xx000 engine setup. Note both numbers are missing, meaning I dare not assume it will be under 20 or even 30. Just to put things into perspective, a 35R can run a 10. So the question is, what do you hope to do with a GT47?
  12. $400, done it before. Your call.
  13. I think it is important to note here that there are no pipping kits to mate a GTR cooler to a GTST. Using a GTR intercooler WILL require some form of custom pipework. My plan was to use GTR cooler along with a china 2.5" pipping kit ane minorly modify the ends that meet the cooler. Will cost alot more by the time you buy the GTR cooler and the question will be raised, why? Performance will probably not be notable at sub 300rwkw and from what Ive seen an upgrade will be in order before getting to 400. My 2c.
  14. Are you using it like this? A single entry manifold mated to a twin scroll turbo is bound to cause some serious restrictions.
  15. If you decide to go RB, I have a package that will suit you for sale right now in this section. BUMP for a nice setup.
  16. I was under the impression you had a high flow already? Is your high flow going to be made of 3071 specs?
  17. +1, I have seen videos of them running.. Theres a guy on youtube with a RB25 and 2835 who later build a 25/30 running a 35R.. The resulting videos are interesting.. You could swear the RB25 setup is faster. Theres a difference of 90rwkw according to the poster. I regret not hunting one out myself.
  18. No. The 2835 has a cropped rear wheel. For whatever reason, cropping the rear wheel seems to do wonders for the turbo.
  19. Wow! Full boost before 2500 and 250 killerwasps! Dragon eggs for sure. Yes Stao I do agree the concave curve would feel faster, although I disagree that it is likely to win. I would say it is fair to say it would have more traction issues for the same final output
  20. Which is why I have not made point to be exact. It has also been documented that there are gains to be had in the larger housing over the smaller one. The added volume aids in lower combustion temperatures and more timing can be wound into the motor. One correction to my 'claim' that has shed many a tear it seems, results were more consistent when using an exhaust cam gear.
  21. The target is 100-120 KPH as most graphs are in speed rather than RPM. With different ratios or wheel sizes this is an approximate marker for the 4000RPM range in 4th gear. I remember feeling entirely the same, all the 3076 rage rah rah rah, smaller turbos are far stronger down low etc etc. Some better investigation brought that 200kw marker to light. The graph above for the 52T is showing 200KW @ 4200RPM at 17psi, look at how much earlier the boost comes in too, the 56T would easily exceed that at that point. Its on full boost by 3450RPM, do you really think the 56T will be 1000RPM laggier, no. But it will flow a considerable amount more at that point. Flow = power, direct relationship. < thats a full stop.
  22. No race fuels, no cams. They do it. I dont wish to debate the garrett vs your turbo, I just wanted to point out it was a poor comparison. One further thing you may want to consider is how long the curve stays concave. The above graphs show the 3076 has a far more convex curve. This would be highly appealing to many people looking for as much area under the curve as possible. SimonR32, majority of results I found were on this site, search and yee will find. It has been some 6 months again, I since purchased a 3037 (and ironically am now selling it) and havent looked since.
  23. Correct me if I am wrong but is lithiums car not SELF TUNED? Sorry what do you do for a job lithium? And Stao who tuned your car? Righto. Now, I spent 6 months straight crunching numbers and reviewing peoples results across a board of forums, and a well tuned RB25 with a 3076 should achieve close to the 200rwkw mark by roughly 4000RPM. I am talking about an internally standard motor, no cams. From what I can see, your both off by some 80rwkw. Lithium, I do not mean to take anything from your efforts. Your work continues to impress. Stao, you are an excellent turbo builder, however this comparison is (for lack of more direct wording) flawed.
