Eoi: Full Rb25det Hks 3037 Setup
GTScotT replied to GTScotT's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Its tuned, but I honestly have not run it on the dyno. The tune was done by CEFF1E and will be reliable. I can see to having it tweaked if a touch up is necessary. The car can be viewed running, but I do not have an FMIC so I will not be winding the boost up. -
Eoi: Full Rb25det Hks 3037 Setup
GTScotT replied to GTScotT's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Turbo is in perfect working order. No shaft play, purchased from eldorode666 on this forum recently and sourced via HKS themselves. Unit has roughly 10,000Km on it. .87 rear housing, internal gated. Make good note that the HKS dump pipe to suit SKYLINES is INCLUDED. As is a HKS big can actuator. The setup is in the car and running. Comes with everything you need to bolt it to your motor and have it run. Comes with intake and meets up with any aftermarket front pipe made for a skyline. I would prefer to sell everything in one hit, but I will consider parting the larger items first. Cheers, -

R33 repinned for 32 ECU. Will supply entire engine harness. This is a turn key package, out of my car running, into your car running. -
Hey guys, For the right price, I will let the following go: - R33 S1 RB25DET - 127xxxKM - Complete motor, manifolds and all $1000 - R32 ECU, Splitfire coilpacks, Z32 AFM, 690cc injectors, complete harness - Tuned to suit complete setup $800 - HKS 3037 pro S - Turbo, HKS dump (suits factory location), water+oil lines, 3" metal intake, silicon joiners (complete setup bolt on turn key) $2500 - R33 GTST Gearbox - Clutch, lines, all accessories, tailshaft (exchange with whatever nissan shaft you have). $1200 This setup is everything you will need to have the kit BOLT UP AND TURN ON in your car. The only things that are not included are the FMIC and the front pipe back exhaust. The dump that is included with the turbo is the GENUINE HKS ITEM designed for the pro S and to suit factory bolt up location in a GTST. This will bolt into all R32/33/34. I would prefer to sell the lot AS A PACKAGE. I WILL DISCOUNT A LOT OFF THE PRICE TO DO SO. But, I warn, low ballers will be punished . This would be PERFECT for someone with a R32 GTST. All you will need is an exhaust and a front mount (which most of you have) and viva la 300rwkw. Reason for sale: custom conversion. PM only at this stage, drop the deposit and I will remove it all from the car. Cheers.

The Mythical Turbo Housing/cartridge Combination

Not to mention hypergear have had some very impressive results of late! As stated, go with the results that have the R&D to back. -
The Mythical Turbo Housing/cartridge Combination
GTScotT replied to shakotan-cefiro's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Step 1, Initialize SAU Step 2, Forums Step 3, Forced induction Step 4, Quick Ref Guide Step 5, $350 Turbo - 250rwkw (RB25DET) Step 6, Dont waste your time. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/35...-9b-t22706.html Good read, exactly the thread you are looking for. Has links to other relevant threads too I believe. You will need access to a turbo re builder willing to do the work for cheap. Housings will need to be machined, odd parts will need to be sourced, specific instructions given to builders etc. Last time I approached GCG with the exact specs they laughed at me, primarily due to the fact they were not confident enough they could do it. They did however urge me to have them high flow the turbo for me at a cost of roughly $2000. Now if you want to be realistic you can spend about half that having hypergear do you a high flow. I am sure he will also use whatever mickey mouse wheels you ask him to. If your serious about it, find the turbo that suits your expectations as per the dyno thread and never look back. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Rb...yno-t55845.html -
Volk Gt-c Diamond Black + Tyres
GTScotT replied to Jap_Muscle's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Your add states Toyo T1Rs in xx% yet the photos show one shagged toyo tyre, two maxxis tyres and a nankang. Could you clarify what tyres come with your rims? -
That is fairly false, while a good upgrade the majority of results see no where near 300rwkw from the high flows. Most people see 230-240rwkw from a high flow, dyno results thread to back.
-
You honestly didnt need to ask, your basically asking the question with the EXACT answer. Troll format almost. Q: what does stock afm handle. A: 200-230rwkw. Please read the following for all necessary info: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Rb...no-t103095.html And http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Rb...yno-t55845.html Note: RB20 and 25 AFM have the same resolution.
-
Luck. Give it one hard drive and the chances of blowing it are high. The boost dependent death is a heat related issue, not an age one. Meaning get it hot enough at any boost level and the rear wheel is sure to hit the housing. Once that happens you can look for the wheel in the cat.

What Is Better? Pods Or Panel Filters On Standard Airbox?
GTScotT replied to GD51LA's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
It really depends on your setup. If you want to avoid being defected and do not need to change away from the factory intake, probably best to retain the stock box with a good panel. The increase in most twin setups on a GTR would be minimal when going to pods. Obviously the stock snorkel could use some work if you were pumping 400AWKW, yet at 300 I dare say it will be fine. To be sure, read this thread and try find people quoting what intake they are running. Provided enough people list that information you should be able to see what sort of power the stock setup maxes out at: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Rb...yno-t93880.html -
Boosting Problems. Hard To Drive Plz Help :(
GTScotT replied to Shmee33's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Have you used water in the engine bay recently? Sounds like you might have water down your spark plug valley. -
lol troll? You should know better than to post something like that in a noob thread now everyone will swear their good for 200 thouusaannddd kms. The answer truly is "how long is a piece of string". Sure enough, if all conditions are PERFECT, it can possibly outlast the car itself. Yet when you take into consideration it is effected by SO MANY variables, its hard to put an actual lifespan on the item. One thing to note is that manufacturers GENERALLY put a 60,000km service interval on consumables (not including lubricants etc) and 100,000km on larger items.

Got My Hands On E-manage Ultimate For My Auto Gt-t
GTScotT replied to Ado Potato's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
LOL @ jewish. As for tuners, brief search brought up: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Go...ner++townsville http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Tu...ner++townsville Shit all listed for Mackay though, other than Mafia that is. Names that came up: Xtreme motorsport dynolink tms gt auto "Mafia lives in Mackay." <-- LOL -
Leave the throttle, try get the gears dialed up. For interest sake I would also try dialing them with the stock intake cam. Your motor sounds like it can make the power, just need to push the turbo into efficiency along with the tune to match. 25PSI and a good dial on the gears should get you the power Ash is talking about (30rwkw) if not more IMO.
-
Probably, if your motor can. Whats done to your motor? Your coming in fairly late with only 5psi by 4300, I know the gibson RB20 had powerband between 6 and 8 yet a 1:1 bump on the static CR and a 3 psi drop in boost saw it with usable power between 4 and 8... MASSIVE difference. Tell us more about your motor.
-
To test if its big ends, warm the motor up till its capable of making the sound when free revving, then disconnect 1 coilpack at a time until it doesnt make the sound anymore... If one of the coilpacks being undone cuts the sound, you know youve got rod knock. I am all for trying to slap in a new set of bearings too provided the crank isnt marked. Had one chew RIGHT OUT on me before and luckily didnt mark the crank. Motor is still going today

Rb26/30 With Super Responsive Twins Anyone Done It
GTScotT replied to rockabilly's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
lol the AR is 'aspect ratio', not specific to a unit of measurement as such (ie inch or cm). As for the comparison to 2835... The 2835 is nothing like your other 2 options... Its actually a 3071 with a cropped exhaust wheel.. The 2871 is something completely different. -
Are you sure its not flame? How are you seeing this? Lights in the mirrors or someone following told you?
-
You mean you want someone to do it with or your expecting someone to set this up legally? LOL Either way Ill be in for both in due time.
