  1. Nothing wrong with having used 12mm. Good work.
  2. With their remains scattered from the budflaps as far as the bootspoiler. Life at its best Sorry OP, back to topic!
  3. One thing to note about cars; they are like women in many ways. Single, hot, sane - pick only two. Quite the same with brakes really. Your not going to get something that works great for both street and track that doesnt squeal/eat rotors/have low dust. Pick two, be done with it. For me brake dust is like war paint When real drivers see an immaculate car with crazy brake dust they know you mean business. My fav was washing the car the day prior (exhibiting some pride) and being told off by the old man for the amount of brake dust and bug guts the next morning
  4. Im guessing your waiting for somebody to tell you what you want to hear about the HKS. +1 blitz works well, have seen it in action and used it.

  6. I am yet to use an evc-s yet my old evc-5 was trash. Fucttionality was rubbish, lots of settings with only 3 buttons on a primative calculator style display. This unit also struggled to hold boost no matter how well tuned. I turfed it for a profec and never looked back. FYI the profec does not suit big turbo or twin application well. GL
  7. Sorry for the late reply mate, Pics: Shows everything you will get, which is everything you need to run it. Keep in mind that motor is not stock, neither is the exhaust and there is also a NiMh pack hiding in the receiver box. For the listed price I will supply a charger for the NiMh pack, Ill also supply the stock saddle pack for 4xAA's. Cheers,
  8. Considering the circumstances of the oil pump dieing, I would be asking the tuner to sort out re coating your pistons and head. If any damage was done to the rear wheel of the turbo that too. That much seems fair, a full rebuild does seem a touch rich when the bottom end would need redoing at no fault of his own. It is right to say he is a total goose and should pay to rebuild your motor, but you would have had to do the bottom end either way, so why fight that. More hassle than its worth. I would definitely proposition him to pay for the ceramic works a new turbo wheel if need be and put the matter to rest. Offer for him not to worry about finding the new motor as that much is what he is responsible for and the rest was out of his control to an extent. If he tries to deny liability in total, remind him he is offering to buy you a new bottom end and that by any legal standard is him fulfilling his obligation of taking responsibility (this is how we screw insurance companies that will say we hold you at fault but willing to let it slide). I feel for you man, must suck. GL
  9. Im about to have my car hit the road with a fairly ordinary 3037 setup and a chipped 32 ecu, so I guess I am in for a fairly rude surprise LOL.
  10. On a fairly basic tune how noteable was the difference with the VCT on to off? I see there is also a third input there to make switchable wooo
  11. Very true re peak hold. The PFC handjob should be able to press the right key to highlight max values. Can the OP confirm the AFM is hitting max voltage?
  12. lol no, its the same as a normal one.. just manufactured after your car was. so its newer, not tunable, same as everyone elses. $2.95 as per Paul.
  13. To answer this simply, yes. The 35R is more flow than the Z32 can read, which 16psi could be just enough with dense enough air. They are a fairly efficient turbo from what I know, dont need 30psi to make max power. See your tuner about your issues, talk it over. You should be able to tinker with the values to give it a slightly broader spectrum (while making your points a little wider). Or switch to MAP or Q45
  14. Turbo sold. Front pipe still available, I am feeling spontaneous... PM me.
  15. Lol good to hear. Please update once your on track with it.
  16. Yes it has that, it clips to the bottom of it. The pump should also come with a bit of foam that u can put around the pump. It comes with that because the pump is thinner than the stock item. Did your pump come in a box with all the stuff? Like instrustions, the foam, wires, etc. And did the box have walbro stamped all over it? Like whats on the justjap site. If it came in a plain white box with walbro written in one place and doesnt have good instructions OR the foam, its possibly a fake.
  17. Your walbro should have a foam sock with it. With the sock on it should pretty much clip back in to the stock cradle. Apart from that some soldering and clipping on the saddle filter and your laughing. GL
  18. The model number was MEC-R523. Type just that into google and you will find it as easily as I did. My use of sarcasm is my decision, I found a need and therefor I used it. Nothing you can do about that so why bother telling me. You could have had someone tell you to search without giving you the answer, so cry to someone who cares. P.S. Use the search function
  19. R33 series 1 auto. Google mate, there is such a place.
  20. Honestly not sure, if you cant find anyone local try calling GCG in Sydney and see if you can ship it up (would cost like 20 bucks each way). They are one of the bigger places.
  21. Take it to a turbo specialist. The CHRA is the exact same one as a Garrett 3076R, so parts will be off the shelf for it.
  22. I dont know the actual reasoning behind Apexi's decision here, yet keep in mind electrons travel through the earth (not the positive). A good earth is CRUCIAL in all applications. I think the difference in manuals is an oversight, and the anal document is the correct one to follow. GL
  23. Twisty runs at highway speeds or take your skirt off. End.
