  1. All standard position bolt on's will go undetected mate. You would have to be the unluckiest guy alive to be caught with a set of -9 or -5s on ur gtr by the EPA lol

  3. digging out the old. Does anyone know how to prevent RnR without changing ECU or adding an inteceptor? I have a zener that will cap the voltage to 4.7v but it still pulls SHITLOADS of timing running above 10psi at midrange type RPMs... the zener (an electronic diode type thing) wont help in this circumstance as the AFM is only reading 3.8v under 4000rpm, and still retarding. Initially I had hoped it would be as simple as preventing it from seeing 5v, but it seems the ecu is smarter than that and has a table drawn up for voltage as per RPM So, anyone know how to prevent RnR without an interceptor or reflash? Churz in advance
  4. that sounds like a reasonable theory by stao. on a stock turbo its probably not as much of an issue and ive seen people struggle to run under 1 bar with that type of exhaust before anyhow, so hiflow and your boost issues seems reasonable. get a bell mouth dump

  13. R32 actuator is 10psi, then a free flowing exhaust and you have your 11psi
  14. need to swap pistons to increase the CR to a respectable level mate, the general consensus is to run rb30e pistons to achieve roughly the CR your looking for. a few manufacturers actually make pistons for rb30det conversions with CRs around the 9 mark, that would be the ticket IMHO GL
  15. The increase in displacement is minimal, the overbore is more so for re machining of the block for when it is worn. for reference 20 thou is half a MM edit: beat me to it trent must have posted at the exact same time

  19. if u get gears and dial them in, you can definately get them to work for you.. the secret to anything good is R n D, and I cant say I have much faith in how much research OR development has gone into those.. never heard of em to be honest. thats not to say their shit, try find someone else using them and go from their results.
  20. test the actuator before you go any further. has it always done this? or did it once upon a time work normal?
