  2. well theres a way to test the return line try to blow down it or to clean to blow compressed air down it,
  3. ok, dont do foward facing cut n shut stock plenums, as rb2530 has stated about flow velocity and the disign on the manifolds from factory (with nissan spending millions on flow testing components and what not......) if u look at the rb20 manifold u will notice it is larger in the middle were the tb is located, and its acutaly not a good size at the end to put a throttle body, i looked at this last week as i wanted to do the same thing, a better idea i would think would be cut n shut the stock manifold to be directly opposite where it is now and put a 90 degree bend and plum it from there, as this wouldnt affect the flow in the manifold so much, nissan knows what there doing when they build a car, theres a reason reputable companys release things designed they way they are, and its not so someone can build a better designed peice in there backyard in 10 min, or even expect them to work half as good
  4. i have the rail bent on my car, lol i need to be able to pull about 1.5 degree one side and add half a degree the other, will the buses do the trick?

Hey, Im a third year panel beater and my tafe has the car-o-tronic measuring system, and i used it today to print off the sheet for my car, and relised i printed the data sheet for the 4 door model. I was wondering if there is anyone on here with a car-o-tronic measing system that can get me a copy of the sheets for both the 2 door gtst and gts4 thanks scott
  9. so cutting a CAST IRON manifold, well 2, and then needing to stick weld with cast nickle rods and hope it doesnt crack when cooling, is going to be more easy than putting a big chunk of alloy into a drill press and drilling 4 holes after u mark and center punch them, then running a tap threw them? anyway im not asking whats easyer to do, im asking if anyone knows if there is anything in the meat of the head there before a depth of 10 mm so i know if its safe to drill.
  10. i read that you needed adapter plates, yet hadnt found if anyone had tried to drill and tap the head instead. thanks
  11. hmm mine would idle at 1700 and cut at 3g as well, went i had a broken wire going to the afm maybee u broke one of the wires when putting the 2nd plug on
  12. find out that cam it is exactly to work out what it revs to, and you need some sort of harmonic balancer, as thats the crank pully.

Hey, I have searched yet did not find an answer to my question, i wondering if its possible to drill about 10mm deep into a rb20 or rb25 head were the studs are for the 4 holes that dont line up on the rb26dett exhaust manifolds or if i will end up drilling into a water or oil galary thanks Scott
  14. ok to the person who says his car shows 0 cept when off boost and its t peiced of the actuator line, this is normal, as your only showing positive pressure on that line as it comes off the turbo hosing itself, t it off a line from the manifold instead, eg blow off valve line and it will show correctly

  17. mate, if you dont like the price of an item, dont buy it, yet dont say its not worth it bla bla, and i think its a pretty good price, decent looking good size rim, even if one wheel does have a bit of rash on it, and they have decent tires, i would consider them if i hadnt got r32 gtr rims a few months ago for my 32 gtst

  20. is the oil temp electric? as in sender screws into motor, then normal wire comes off it, not some stiff copper one? if it is electric ill come grab it off ya friday night as i only live over at hurstville
