  1. Be it myself I would pull the crank and give that to a machinist, let them check it and then give it back to you with a matched set of bearings. Shouldnt cost any more than $400. That's a much safer way to go. Also, Trozzle wasnt being mean to you mate. He was being sarcastic to the person who whinged about your grammar. He also said your post was fine. Dont worry, you will get the help you need. Sorry to hear about your surgery and hope everything ends up fine.
  2. Correct, the T4 divided housing is extra but thats the only one.
  3. My ACL race series were not blue, here's a pic:
  4. Ask real for a discount by email their service is worth paying for, I really like dealing with them. Email attention Trevor Harmon and say Jason from Aus referred you.
  5. I bought most of my engine gear off these guys, $150 for postage from them is fair. It ships mega quick.
  6. Can you post a pic mate? Please also give us some history on the motor and what brand the bearings are. Tell us where you bought it, who built it and how many KM's its done. Cheers,
  7. This is not true. Has nothing to do with it.
  8. I was wondering if it could possibly be for a different VQ and how picky nissan was with turbo sizes on those motors. Stao's comment is accurate however. Useless for anything but highflowing and putting back on a VQ.
  9. Scrap paper on the side of the road awaiting council collection, maybe.
  10. That is an M35 stagea turbo which has a blown seal. It is good for nothing, except maybe a door stop. Congrats.
  11. thats 238kw @ 15psi, not bad! change your coils and put as much boost into it as it will take. my guess is a reasonable setup will happily see 18psi out of one.
  12. Go the 20G like Roy, you will need E85 to reach your target of 300kw but also expect that to be near your upper limit.
  13. The turbo is sized similarly to a Disco 2860RS...... Why are we deliberating more power than 207kw? It's doing what its meant to be doing, without a doubt.
  14. Have a look at Hypergears most recent highflow profile using standard hitachi housings on both sides. The result is attributed to the use of the right wheel profiles and a good manifold, which is much the same case with the evo's. FP get the right wheel profiles to make do with the stock housings and the end user gets themselves a good manifold. I'm yet to see a garden variety 3076R smashing an FP turbo (on an evo), but id happily be shown.
  15. If you do get Mick to fab your stuff I can arrange to be on site and do your wrenching.
  16. Yup, I meant to bring that up with you today Lith. Seems to be a stage 3 with a 20G combo, and seems to be quite happy while it is. I wonder if that fills the said void ;-)
  17. better than mine. le sigh.
  18. Sorry my confusion. Thought we were discussing Mick's
  19. it was 335 id been in that car plenty to know what it was like. the higher the speed the nuttier it became, angering the demon more as you went faster and squirming under the trigger. was very drivable and potent.
  20. thats a crazy result.. I like the way the torque stacks and fades off. I'd probably want that exact result for myself if I had an R33. Is the CHRA in that SS2 core any different to the normal SS2?
  21. Attached are photos of my intake pipe, linking my Z32 to my Hypergear with a breather in between. The pipe was made by Mick_O, who is an absolute perfectionist when it comes to this. He's in the west and I believe he will be happy to fab one for a fee for anyone interested. The welds were done to a colouring and finish that i requested. He noted and showed me that he can also make the pipe to have no marks or burn colour. The pipes are also made from medical/food grade stainless bits, all butt welded except on the 20mm bung (no filler wire). You can obviously prep that and paint is fluro pink if you like. Matte black wouldn't be hard either.
  22. No porting on Mick's Dave, was left on the motor Made sub 270 on 98 though, and delivery was nothing of the sort. The sugar mix was a big wake up. I think the 20G is still pretty crazy on the RB, I would love to see an ARTZ vs Disco show down once this 52T is plumbed
  23. That looks to be my old motor. I can't remember who I sold it to though lol. I can vouch for it, have had the sump of and carefully inspected internals. Is a very good motor. Good luck with the sale.
  24. With the FP units on the market I really dont see any place for a GTX on an evo lol
  25. Sorry mate I was referring to the recommendation to consider something like the NZ Hybrid type manifold. I fully support the move to have you mod his ewg housing ala ARTZ.
