td05 on an RB20 has been covered within the last 20 pages, you could read the thread that we all put a lot of effort into and do it some justice... advice still stands @ 220 = highflow. highflow is still a brand new turbo, just with your old housings. that way your brand new turbo bolts back into place where the old one was.

get some boost control happening get it on sooner hows it compare with the old twins?

For 220 and good response why not send the stock RB20 turbo to hypergear? He could easily make you up a turbo to suit. Best of all, it would bolt back into place where your one is now. I think he charges $960 for that service and the other parts should all be off the shelf. no external gate, no big costs etc.

I think it is more likely to be a warp in the manifold as that is a lower grade of metal, which would have burs in it like wood. The epic heat is forcing the turbo to warp with the housing. IMHO i think a new manifold and a remachine of the turbine housing will do the trick. Use good studs like mentioned above.

Ive said this in the GTX thread yet I have already made the 'for science' call to GCG about ditching the fancy comp cover. Unfortunately the answer was that being a 'full blade wheel' they actually need a specially done surge slot for them to work. Results would be bad they rekon if you tried without the slot. I made this call as at the time I had a disco, and wanted to know if they could simply GTX my disco (essentially the same outcome bar the comp cover) so yeah.

they spin bearings because the oil pump dies lol you dont rebuild a motor thats in factory working condition, factory knows best!

Hey guys, Have a T04Z housing here, came with a manifold I bought and no longer need it. Is T3 open frame, .63 AR, 3" V band exit. Looks like a 35R housing but has the adapter ring to suit T04Z. Is HPC coated in silver and has a bung hole for an EGT sensor. Price: $220 delivered, firm.

outside of 'standard servicing' items like fluids and the timing belt etc, you should change the oil pump. the oil pump is the most common major failure in those cars.. if your gonna do that think hard about what else you want to do as it would be best to do it all at once. if you do decide you want to work it up (new turbos) prepare to spend 10 grand at a minimum. Not Kidding. otherwise just put a dump back exhaust on it and drive it around lol happy days

Whatever yours is is how his was. He had an actual antisurge housing from kando, no home brew. Already said that before

thats what the kando antisurge covers are.. they are the normal cover that comes with the turbos but with anti surge holes drilled in them

That would be a pretty cool back to back but I wouldnt encourage you to spend money on it at this stage. Dori's setup already proved the antisurge didnt work well, so I would say save your hard earnt coin and just tune up once you have the normal cover.

you will spend more tuning multiple tunes on the nistune than you will getting a flex capable ecu and having that tuned properly

from what I saw on fb its definitely not a kando failure case. Something has gone through it rather than come off it.
