  1. watch 600hp turn into 600kw like Lith said, LOL. it is tuned for what your doing atm yeah? not boosting it on the T04Z tune are you? when you say toey do you mean its pretty lively under the foot? responsive for the amount of power it will make?
  2. Hmm, hope the hybrid guys take note and see about a shorter wg tube. the one on my 6boost is similar to Roys, with less of a point upward. the last time I got a quote from 6boost Kyle also said he would leave the wg pipe as just a stub off the manifold so u can make it application specific. Pretty sure that's a 50mm port too. Allows u to simply step it down to ur gate size
  3. Attention to detail, zip tie cross-hatch. Love it.
  4. Its a TD06 18G it will probably be a little more responsive than Roy's (SFA id say) but will cap off earlier. 260 would be a really good day for it i think. it will like to rev and be fun though..... you could pick up a kando housing for $150 to make it a T3 and whack a gate off the housing so you can lowmount it off the stock manifold. see members named ARTZ and dori34 for examples.
  5. seems like it could be a for a different trim wheel hmm id say hypergear could fix that issue for it, have you PM'd him? ud just send him the turbo and the housing and hed send it back all fitted up.
  6. I normally like the FFP for giving more flexibility on injector choice. Makes it nice and easy to use a china rail and top feed injectors. I also believe a top mount is generally beneficial for packaging reasons. If you were to build a nice low mount it would work just as well as the high mount, and as Ash said probably yield better centre of gravity which is a moot point on the street anyway. in general terms it has been said that the stock plenum has more torque than an FFP due to the longer runners. also try not to get confused as most people say low mount referring to the stock manifold (because it is a low mount of a sort). as a rule of thumb a quality high mount will have nice gains over the stock lowmount, but if u paid the premium for a custom low mount the performance should match the highmount. i hope that helps
  7. LOL you deserve a medal for this. 5 Broken ring lands, drove it for 90 thou and from Perth to GC. You Sir are Awesome.
  8. Pretty sure PJ used the 6766, went 900whp on his SR. I think it also went 9 flat at 750whp. seems like an amazing unit.
  9. it should still make respectable numbers on 98 a guy on NS made either 301 or 310, cant remember which, on 21psi using 98. an SR with BC 264s and 90mm overbore.
  10. i mean your always replying to what i say with something funny all good though, makes for a good read lol
  11. lol @ race wars. kasko it seems like your my personal commentator lately
  12. I have a feeling production of these things has slowed, I need to do some overtime so I can hurry up and buy one before they go under
  13. lol that was a good one. ima do dat 2nite, den im gna go out n get d bishes
  14. What was done to the current motor for starters? I am assuming it was stock, yet a lot can be done and a lot can be spent. Knowing where your at now and what has failed you will be a good bit of knowledge to have before giving you advice moving forward. In terms of heads limiting the things, IMHO the RB25 does not limit the motor in a built and ported trim. If anything I would rather a NEO head ontop of the 30 bottom end than any other. The VCT puts the pants on the ants as far as results are showing.
  15. I think I know what sort of setup I would chase in a GTR. that neo VCT head is magic.
  16. Not sure if serious or trolling.
  17. PROBLEM??
  18. Move the boost reference nipple tonight, you are capable of doing nice welds so it shouldnt take you long at all. If its still doing it after you move the ref then continue hunting. I feel bad for Mr Hybrid as he is copping a bad wrap without reason. If there is an issue with a product you should ALWAYS give the manufacturer or reseller the first opportunity to resolve the issue before leaving public negative comments. If you flat out expected to need to do a few little fixes on it like you said you did, you should just keep that to yourself. Slippy lotion, I know we are both SR boys, but you DO NEED to pipe down mate. Stop barking up this guys tree coz its just not fair, hes a legit trader now and deserves to be shown respect. Try make your future comments constructive rather than plain criticism.
  19. something is really wrong with this here though........ i would check absolutely everything first
  20. lol you can see the caps are what it used to look like, the rest has been chemically bathed
  21. that car has 228,000km on it? maybe thats why its so thirsty LOL
  22. um what turbo?
  23. ah ok. try move your reference feed to just after the turbo or even the comp housing. if that doesnt change anything then id start looking at the manifold.
