  1. I was sure that you did have an actual GT3040? Did you end up disassembling the turbo to find it was a 7 blade 76mm compressor?
  2. Kamak definitely make a 9 blade reverse TD06SL2, just need to ask.
  3. KAMAK make a 9 blade SL2 wheel, I believe they call it their STS wheel. Why don't you guys try this? No machine work required, just assemble and balance. Its meant to be a much lighter wheel, too. It has the potential for very snappy throttle response with the billet compressor.
  4. A 35R is a good unit but there is one fundamental problem with what you just did.. You started building to have more sting on shorter tracks.. You opted to increase displacement to do this, and took a step up in that department.. Now you have also taken a step up in turbo and are likely in a similar position to before, just with more power to boot. What was the thought process that lead to this?

  7. It sounds like a boost control issue, otherwise you have all the parts to support what you want to do. Obviously you should still check for leaks, but move to boost control if you cant find any leaks.
  8. So the result posted to Evo Oz was just the Kando billet, right? You haven't posted SLSS2 results yet?

  13. Disco make sure your flanges do not have different ID's. I note you said the dump tube was 3.5" to the cat but you did not mention if it reduced down before the flange or if you have a 3.5" flange bolted to a 3" flange. I have a 80mm dump into a 76mm cat which bottlenecked power badly.

  18. I think this is the first thread ever where we have contested the size requirement of 300kw... It has ALWAYS been 3" so I am not sure why it has suddenly changed.

  20. A few people getting lots of failures. Not kando specific either.
  21. Truth be told it made lots of noise... But it was a very different noise to what you would expect... Had zero drone and was very breathy. No real 'bass' to its tone, and certainly wasn't a tractor in any way. It was fairly silent. f**king old wog father and his angle grinder -_-
  22. I had one of these... It was f**king amazing... I'd never heard an SR like that... I took it off the car to trial a straight pipe and see if there were any gains... Left the Supermegaphone at my dads... Came back a few weeks later and he had taken an angle grinder to it because it was 'taking too much space'. And that was the day I lost my shit. However, a few weeks later I wen't back to visit again and found it on the back of HIS car................................ NOTHING SUS. Photo attached. TL:DR Apexi Super megaphone exhausts are amazeballs, even on a 70s Porsche.
  23. I have an 80mm tanabe exhaust in mint condition for a 33 under the house. No step downs or flow restrictions, and no drone. No penile extension tips, either. Its a nice rounded tip on a fat stainless oval muffler. Its all stainless actually. Let me know if you wish to take a look and perhaps make an offer on this item.
  24. I bought all my gear from Real Street Performance in the US. Prices were yeah, half or less. Can even get JB Precisions for like 1k delivered. My cams were like $400, rods $400... Everything was dirt cheap and I was able to build a much better quality engine as a result.
