  1. Yeah, I always considered a T04Z to be closer to 500kw than it was 400kw.... -5s are 400kw on a good day are they not?
  2. Surely if the priming time was the issue you could extend the prime time? Why not give it a constant 12v. Well if youve already put the 044 then thats that I guess. Wanna sell your 400LPH?
  3. Interesting they were too big. Full race seemed to be poor pushing it to me for the 2L for 400whp. If you compare the -10s to a 2871 from RB to SR i guess this would mean they aren't all that optimal. Probably a 6758 would be better.
  4. Its probably gonna be cheaper to just buy a new chra with the billet wheel for a couple of hundred. I think fitted and balanced of new Angeles would cost similar anyway
  5. Fair enough. Its good that you put it out there re what they are good for. Thanks,
  6. Ask him to send a Billet fitted CHRA at a cut price to come to a mutual agreement. Like $150 or something for the new CHRA. Thats GOT to cover the production cost and mailing lol. On another note, a DIRECT COMPETITOR of Kando delayed shipping to me by 3 weeks on some trivial item and when I asked them what sort of feedback am I meant to give you now? They replied good feedback, your getting a full refund and keeping the item. Were really sorry messed up that bad. That was nice of them I thought!
  7. Why arent you using them John? Still have that 6258 lying about too?
  8. I guess your hormonal moaning can make some level of sense at times ARTZ lol
  9. I rekon keep going with Mr Eiji Make sure he is aware of the 170 page thread on SAU which clearly notes he is not giving warranty where his product has failed. As much as I like Kando, this does tarnish my opinion somewhat... I feel its only fair you get a replacement. You should offer to mail him the CHRA in exchange for another (mail to TW is at your expense). Thats probably the fairest option, coz then you dont get to keep 2 turbos with one that will potentially not fail.
  10. Sonic housing? R U serious? I can recall quite a few threads where we have specifically weened people off the sonic housings, and even made them return it in place of a genuine Garrett at a massive cost. Why is it you are recommending that product all of a sudden?
  11. Oh how wrong you were lol. People would love to see a thread on your car mate, especially if you have back to back on porting the stock manifold.
  12. Sucks to hear mate, make sure you get a good mechanic on your side or expenses can blow out unimaginably. Am also confident its a rod bearing. Did you buy at a dealer or private?
  13. LOL somebody needs to make an E85 hitler rant for youtube. That will be how SAU see's me. ICH GLOUBER UN E85. HEIL.
  14. impossible man, i need to stay occupied while i deny as many insurance claims as possible i can haz internetz? yes thank you
  15. That cant be that hard Jez I was also under the impression the RB26 and RB20 TPS are compatible. Lead to believe so by use of RB26 PFC on RB20s
  16. Prevention is better than the cure lol
  17. The last RB20 ECU I bought was $30 It will plug in, all you need to do is swap a couple of wires and you will have a single AFM ECU in the car. Simple as that. If I can do it, you can do it. www.paulr33.com EDIT: R32 RB20 and RB26 ecu's all use the nistune type 2 board. So you are really at no disadvantage to Nistune an RB20 board. Later if you decide to go back to twins you can just move your Nistune to the RB26 ECU and swap the pins back, making it twin AFM. Ummmmm simple? Yes.
  18. Hang on a second... An RB26 ECU was able to start and run my stock R33, simple plug in job. Why don't you dummies put an R32 ECU in it and switch a couple of wires around. Voila, single AFM ECU. I mean you don't HAVE a RB26 Nistune yet do you Blake?
  19. Then try find a 3 bolt 10cm housing. Rocking house shit im telling you. Kando 10cm are t3 only. Why not make things really easy and buy one of those with a eBay steam pipe manifold? Then you can say now that was easy, and I'll be like... O RLY
  20. lol @ buy more brake kits. and double lol @ E85 ate my turbine wheel. this thread brings out a whole lot of awesome in everyone lol
  21. chuck a WMI kit in there ans see how deep the rabbit hole goes
  22. more or less a GTR should not have stock turbos on it anymore, they are just too old and the risks are just too high. you should aim to change your turbos ASAP. however, doing so is one hell of a money pit at the same time. its much cheaper and easier to own a GTST dollar for dollar a budget build will go a lot further and faster in a GTST
  23. you can easily run WMI on E85, but now your talking some serious power lol more than you will push from a G3 for a track dedicated car in a non E85 friendly area, WMI will be easier to make do with. once E85 is easier to come by you wont be at too much of a loss to retune and on sell the WMI kit. The WMI kits are under $500 for something that will do the job.
  24. RUN AT ME Pleased to see you got an organic, waaaaaaaaaaaaiisss chhhooiiissss
  25. That should be a STOUT setup Matt, a 3076R is a nice turbo and put on a 6boober (assuming EWG) can only make it better. Roy I guess we will have to agree to disagree here, remembering that twin scroll Evos went from 9 to 9.8 to 10.5 to 12cm twin scroll housings and have only gotten more responsive and with more torque as the models progressed.
