  8. hey all, As the title states, i am looking for an rb25 head for my build up. my 30 bottom end is coming along quicker than i expected so i am after the top end now. Now i am open to just the head and/or loom...... or i may consider buying whole top end (if price is right) as i will on sell what i dont need. i have no need for injectors, afm, plugs, coils or any of that as i will be using new aftermarket parts would rather not start looking interstate so i hope i can source one from tassy. Cheers!
  9. Yet another Proud moment for our lovely law enforcers.. paddy wagon stolen lol
  10. hmm my thoughts also, they would have used one of those methods im pretty sure. Police just stuffed up and are trying to cover their tracks no doubt
  11. this one is owned by a guy called will, i drove it when looking for my 33
  12. spottod the silver s2 33 with wheels and white wish list in north hobart on friday night, and spottod a greeny blue one similar to yours trent in tranmere
  13. short shift kits are a lot harder on syncros because the syncros are designed to synchronize the gear speeds with the time taken in moving the factory throw... by shortening the throw you make quicker gear changes and therefor syncros do not have sufficient time to synchronize gear speeds... havnt worded that real well but i hope you get what im saying
  14. As title states, i am after an rb30 bottom end!!! Pistons, rings and rods condition not that important as i am just really after block and crank for a RB25/30DET build up. However block condition is important. (not interested in motors with overly f**ked bores or cracks in block) Only after good condition motors in Tas (im in hobart) Will consider buying complete motor ( with head etc.) if price is right.

cold is so shit, i hope it hot all week, tassy winter is shit
  21. EDIT..the yellow circular part is the clock spring or contact reel which just carries the wiring for the horn and the airbag
  22. series 1 have steering wheel airbag just not passenger dash airbag i think we need to find you a lock bar and a wheel/boss kit trent
  23. the standard steering wheels on 33's (not so sure about 32s) have a sensor in them. by this i mean, when you turn the wheel, the sensor reads the degree of turn and hicas will steer according. by removing this set up you will have anywhere from slight to major hicas problems. how ever you may not realise. easy fix.... hicas lock bar lol or dont change standard wheel its not illegal to change a 32 wheel but it is illegal to remove a 33 wheel. this being because a 33 wheel has the center airbag and by replacing the standard wheel with an aftermarket one you are removing a safety device... same as removing seatbelts all in all i thought f**k it and of corse put a nice small aftermarket wheel on my 33 anyway.
