  2. umm not 100% sure about sensor or front wiring... im almost 100% sure that 33 coil packs have an extra bolt to hold them down

  6. yup i used to work at petroject and they are mainly the bosch supplier... but also do some walbro chances are its bosch... as that whats we mainly sold
  7. the boxed blue one says "Skyline GTR (R34)".... however the image below is in no way a gtr... the blue one cant be 34gtr...... count the doors lol definatly a rex

  10. when my m8s car was on high boost it started knocking at high revs... then at most revs... then at all revs... the knocking getting worse and worse... turned out he had done a big end bearing. probly nothing this major in your car just a thought thats all

  12. from memory they arnt overly expensive.. pick one up at your local Nissan dealer/spare parts center! you may find that its not actually a snapped cable it may just be the drive on the dash end that turn the needle but you still just buy a whole new cable anyway im pretty sure.. well thats what Nissan informed me
  13. Before some one says it, Yes i did search this first but can someone tell me how exactly an engine is compression tested and and give me a ruff idea on what sort of price i would be looking at for an rb25det. also what sort of firgures are good. im guessing about 150 or higher or lower??

  15. have you considered doin it yourself... will save you some money they arnt over complicated just take a little time and get annoying... i did swear id never do another diff after the last one i played with in an r32 however lol
  16. hmm being an apprentice i earn not alot either. i just owe the bank 15k for an r33 lol. spose your brother cant consider a loan if he doesnt earn enough to pay it back tho he will also need money for insurance and rego and maintainance too remember
  17. hmmm 5k for an r32.. might be a battle if your after one in good condition. i know auto n/a ones are cheap but maybe save a couple more grand. May i ask y he wants an auto... manual is much more fun lol

  23. my r33 isnt great on fuel, say 300km to a tank but i dont exactly drive with fuel consumption in mind... price u gotta pay with these cars. as for lpg... i have a mate with a turbod celica that runs on lpg... fasted car ive been in. it was the fastest car in QLD in recent year i believe for its size but personally i would stick to petrol and just use good fuel like BP Ultimate (dont use cheap unleaded)
